Cheers mate, I'll be doing more Intro to Genetics videos this year to try and make it easier for everyone. The footage of the black pied in this video is a month or two old now, he looks even nicer now that he's out and flying! I was a little disappointed in getting a pied because I want them clean in the project, but he's a very good looking bird with the white in him.
You do realize that there was a bred of pigeon know as Opals the breeders name was Opal the breed was produced the same way the original breeds were form in Belgium
Thanks! Usually August/September to December/early January. I might do a little winter breeding for the more complicated colours, but this project will be on hold until after winter now.
