@@jameshatton4405 I'm ok with this reality since it was always the same and I never expected anything. But when I first heard this concept, it was a really f up moment to think about, and realize. Even most fathers don't get any flowers until that moment comes. Hey, life is beautiful and giving, that helps with everything else that comes with it. So its ok.

I don't think it's a matter of valentine's. Roses are symbolic outside of valentine's day and Christianity, I think the issue is that roses being a symbol of love are not the sort of thing deemed to be appropriate to accept from a stranger in Islam.
