Loved the hanging ladder. I saw a similar thing done with an old vintage twin bed spring decorated for Halloween. Loved what you did. It’s been many years since my children left the nest, but I still remember the sadness and worry. At the same time, pride that they had grown into kind, compassionate, competent adults, standing on their own.

I love the ladder and your accompanying room decor! My children have long ago left the nest, and I now get to enjoy my grands. There are tears as you move forward, but there are more joys to come!

Really like what you did with the ladder. The yellow makes it pop. Speaking of pop, you pop in that top. That 30 day challenge is showing all over. You did a marvelous job during your challenge.

My daughter graduates from H.S in May. So I know it's had and she's my second one. I love the decorated latter. It's looks like they grew there.

Liz, I love this! ❤️ My mom and I were commissioned to style a 9ft hanging ladder by a purveyor of a shop that we used to rent space in. We used grapevine, lights and lots of floral. What you did today is very reminiscent of ours. I wish I had space in my home to do one. My only option would be in my covered outdoor living space, but between the wind and birds it would be a nightmare.😅 LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!😘💋🐝

I remember when my first daughter left the house I cried for three days and on the third day I wound up in the Hospital with a Heartatack. So take it easy my friend and keep yourself busy . Liz, first I wanted to mention that you’ve been on my mind this weekend because you’re having to say goodbye to your baby girl. I remember that feeling when my only son moved away, and I still hate to see him leave when he visits me. It’s so hard to let them go, but we have to let them find their own way but always be there for them when they need someone to lean. I really wish you understood the huge impact you’ve had on me and that there was a way I could send you photos of the massive changes I’ve made just this weekend thanks to your ideas. And only your ideas. As I said, my great room is the one place my husband has put his foot down and refused to let me paint the horrible dark paneling, but thanks to your ideas and watching your videos I have transformed the mantle into something I never thought was possible! With 2 tall “blooming lamps a la Liz,” some beautiful garland and flowers, and some new bargains from Kirkland’s, Big Lots, Hobby Lobby, and Ross, I am FINALLY realizing I CAN brighten up my room despite the dark paneling and dark brick fireplace! How can I ever thank you for everything you’ve taught me! Thanks to your videos and many helpful tips, I have even created 3 floral arrangements that actually look really good. Girl, you have changed my life in the best way possible; you reawakened my love of crafting AND you’ve taught me how to decorate those tough places in my home! 💕

Gorgeous! I love how the ladder turned out. Everything looks so pretty! TFS! I'm just like you when it comes to my baby (he's 32). It broke my heart when he left home but I know how proud I am of him for the choices he's made and the man he's become. Seeing this I know that I've done a great job as a mom.

Liz I had a ladder hanging for years years ago I decorated for all the seasons, what I added to the top for spring was basically like you but then I added a RUSTIC birdhouse to the top nestled in the floral. This makes me miss my old ladder, I have remodeled and took it down. TFS.

Hi Liz, had my eye surgery today! Holy cow! I look awful!!!!! My eyes are so swollen doing what the doctor says so hopefully by next week I will look better🤣 can’t shower or wash hair for 2 days, no driving for either! Thank goodness for hubby! The worst part was the needle sticks for numbing😬 he said I will be so happy when all is healed! I would never do this but was for vision purposes so I can tolerate it on pain meds so that helps! Hope my eyes will be as beautiful as yours! Love you Betty in Nc

My son hung it for me and we used thick jute rope to hang it...it is one of my most favorite things in our home. I thought I would mention this if I could please but you might already know about them. I have used what are called Heavy Duty Wall Hangers for a long time. They look somewhat like a metal semi circle hook that does not have to have a stud to use. You just pick the spot and hang what ever you wish wherever you want it. They are fantastic!! I first got mine at qvc I think but your hardware or craft stores should have them. I even found them at Walgreens. Tfs!!!!!
