You remind me so much of myself when I was in my late 20s. My husband and I took a homemade ping pong table, cut it up and made a base for a sofa and when we could afford a sofa for our basement family room, we stood the framework up and made a bar out of it. My greatest compliment was when I painted our dining room walls a clay color and then I hand painted bricks on it. A friend of ours saw it and asked me where we got this wallpaper. I am now 76, widowed but I created a homey sanctuary in our apartment. Keep up the great work using your creativity the Lord gave you.

Oh Liz!!! So funny .I just turned on your video and said oooh a spider! Look into your lamps shade with the sun coming thru. It looks like a spider. Then I realized it was the frame and bulb on the inside of the lamp. What a great laugh. Great video as usual. Great decor

I spy a doggie through the window!! lol I love love love all your stuff!! I love the French country look. An older friend that I help out a lot gave me a rooster in a planter with greenery and flowers and that's what it reminds me of. I do worry sometimes that people are going to walk in and say What in the heck is THAT!! But I love it!! Your home is so warm and welcoming!!

Great idea with the door Liz, my niece left a door here about two years ago for a project she never did, think I'll find a corner, add a wreath n I have a shop light just sitting in my craft room, perfect!!!
