I used to do shows for years, I am now retired age 75. I think you need to put more up on your back wall instead of so much on the floor. Don't be afraid to hang things as high as you can to utilize all your space. I would also add a little greenery *artificial* to compliment all the white, a few small ferns or trailing pothos/ivy. Put them on top of some of the high pieces. You could also open the bottom drawers on some of your dressers and place signs etc in them to bring more things off the floor. I used to have booths in various antique malls over the years. I agree with this comment and also, my eye was hungry for some soft edges. Perhaps some of your table runners, other fabric items-even display the new skirts you carry. Best of luck.
Personally, as a designer, I would add floating shelves to the back wall and bank them with tons of your signature pillows. You do a marvelous job with them and I know they sell well in this environment. Good luck to you.
You should sell your skirts and tops there and maybe add some more greenery and trinkets on the dresser. Fake pastries in that 3 tier display so people can have a sense on what it would look like in their home maybe adding tea towels on that rack, adding more candles I would fill it up. Kinda of a lived in look without looking a mess. Im sure you can come up with something brilliant! Blessings Mary!🌼
Yes, exactly! Staging the booth - it's all about Presentation ! I don't think people realize the Power of Visual/Emotional wants/purchases.... Like the window display of a Bakery, or a fancy dessert at a spendy restaurant... Maybe Mary could hire her Niece to go there twice a week to tidy/clean up/re stage items where items have been sold or moved around by shoppers...

Me too! I got out all these plant pots the other day that were down the side of my house and filled them with plants and put them all around the house! I love them, they make me feel calm, as does Mary’s voice.

Your booth always looks so inviting! I really want that sign with the bicycle on it! For some reason I love anything with bicycles and have a few photos and other decor with bicycles on them in my craft room! The funny part is I can't even ride one, I keep falling over! Lol. The light or white pieces with a touch of stained wood make your booth look clean and inviting. I agree with other commenters about using some greenery or maybe some soft items such as linens, wreaths or rugs. The entrance to your booth will definitely make customers want to come in and browse.

You could open some of the drawers a little and put smaller items in them such as candles, fabric, kitchen utensils. Maybe even small signs sticking up halfway.
Love your ideas for her. We have a lot of antique malls where we are. I love going in there and see all the "small things". The kitchen utensils are always fun to see the older ones. I was thinking have some hand towels with small soaps. Things that she could make but also buy and resale. I think people can spend more on the smaller item's because the furniture is harder to make room for. I say that but LOVE the fountain. I would put that on my large porch in a second!

Your booth looks great, nicely full. I've had a booth before and it's the opposite of home, you need it full of stuff. People who are suggesting adding lots of extra little things don't realize that if you pile the furniture full of stuff people don't want to bother buying the furniture, and if they do the people who work there have to move it all.

I think it looks nice :). At other antique malls what always catches my eye is when the vendor “styles” the pieces with some decor, china, flowers, antiques, linens etc. Jusr p like you style your pieces that you paint at home at the end of your videos. It really helps folks like me who have trouble visualizing in my head how I will use the piece. Nothing too busy just little touches. :) I can’t wait to visit Walnut Creek antique mall someday!

As a patron of antique stores and shows, I always gravitate toward booths that have rugs on the floor and lamps placed in a corner turned on. It makes it feel so cozy and inviting 😊😊😊
I love the way you arranged your booth today. Everything is crisp, clean, and it invites you in. I also like that there aren't a lot of knick knack stuff to distract you while you're looking. I gotta find a way to get up there.

Hi Mary. I love all of your items. My suggestion would be to use every bit if wall space to hang all your signs and even hang stuff from the ceiling if you can. Display things how you would use them too and add candles and linens to the drawers as well. I use to work for Pier 1 and had to do some displaying alot. Good luck.

Everything you do, you do well! One little suggestion, You may want to use some color with artificial plants, like you do in your home. Wreaths made of lambs ear, flower pots filled with lilac colored florals with wording on the side. I bet they would sell easily! You do such a great job decorating your home, use some of your ideas for your booth!

Actually your space at the mall looks super nice and it's filled with great decor items. I would shop there if I lived near by. The fountain and the gate are a great way to invite shoppers into your space.
I really enjoy your videos. They are so calming compared to most other videos. I think your booth is beautiful. However.....I own a store that is repurposed and painted home decor store. I started it when I retired a tad bit early and was bored. It was a hobby that just got out of hand. I had to learn everything also. Though I think your booth is lovely , to put it over the top I would add lots of stuff on the walls and most importantly you need to have a lot of lighting and greenery to jump it up a notch. I really never thought lighting was such a big deal...Then I started hanging chandy's, adding floor lamps and lots of table lamps. Wow! Give it a try and see what you think. It will pull customers in your booth and it will add a whole new dimension to your booth.
I wish I lived closer, I would definitely visit your booth! I think it looks great, but the block wall and white wall are kind of plain. If they allowed it, you might try building a background made out of the old fence boards. That would make your white and greens pop! Also, a crowded booth with lots of small stuff always draws me inside a booth to look closer.
You want your house not to be cluttered, your booth you want people to spend time in looking at everything. Make it beautifully cluttered. I’m drawn to booths that have a lot of beautiful things that are clustered together. Maybe by functionality. Like kitchen stuff on one wall for example. You have such great talent. Keep up the beautiful work!

Your booth is really great! Love the water feature, so clever. My only suggestion is greenery. I think some flowers and green plants would make everything pop.
A friend is a vendor at our local antique mall...she brings in some decor items & tags them "for display-not for sale". It seems to help with the things you mentioned- mixture of woods, shapes, colors. It looks great so far!

I love the simplicity of your booth, but it also is a bit stark. I would suggest adding some greenery (you could price it individually) to add some texture. perhaps something that is textile to soften it up a bit. I do love your work and love watching your videos!

I don't know how much inventory you have in candles but you could easily display 50 - 100 more here and there as fillers. Since you pour your own you could possibly make votives just so anyone visiting your booth could afford a small something to support your business.

Love your items...maybe soften it up a little with vintage dolies.....maybe some silk plants for color or flowers. It looks very stark and little cluttered but I love everything you do.
We were just over there and visited your booth a few weeks back. I just might have to buy that fountain if it is still there when I return. There is another booth there straight back from the front counter on the right (last one against the wall in the back corner) that looks a lot like your style and you could get some ideas from it too. Your booth looks nice.

Oh Mary you should really trust your judgement on things as I think I can speak for myself and a whole lot of other ppl that your booth and the way in which you place things are just fabulous!! However I understand the busy feeling when you have several different shaped items & colours as it really confuses me also,almost like a overwhelming feeling and I get really anxious about it,daft I know but just so you know your not alone with the kerfuffle feeling of different shapes & colours all together 😊, I adore your booth & workshop, MB looks such a lovely young lady and a great help,p.s I LOVE your truck 🚚 !
