I’m so thankful you created this for soft color types. It is SO hard to find inspiration for cool skin tones. Would you be willing to create more videos on cool skin tones and how to apply the typical outfit trends we see on Pinterest but instead of the warm tone that everything is in, recreated it with cool tones? Another idea that I would love to get better on is how to know how to wear beige, Carmel, taupe, cream, white, off white, etc for cool skin tones. I am struggling to fine the correct beiges for my color type. Everything looks bad on me, but I would really like to create that typical chic monochrome look. I would eat these types of videos up. Just food for thought. We need more cool tone Pinterest inspiration outfits. Thank you.😊
When looking for these shades just make sure that their undertone is cool, e. g. pinkish , greyish, bluish. Especially around your face. Then you will be able to wear it.
A big YES to this! I love the beige neutral aesthetic, but truth be told, I'm a cool winter... So it's a no for me. I'd like to still incorporate those colors though (I won't throw away all my warm neutrals I've accumulated over the years thinking they suited me😢).
@@abc-ec4rf I would agree with you. I have been collecting neutrals over the last couple years just to learn that I don’t look good in any of them.😭 So I now have to wait to replace them but I don’t know what colors look good on me. I have cool skin tone but warm hair. That is really hard for me to fine anything that works. So I would love more videos that help cool tone people look chic and minimal and modern.
Thanks so much for showing clothes for a Soft Color type. Most influencers pooh-pooh the light neutrals and cool pastels that suit my Soft coloring so well. So many say they “hate pastels”, but not everyone should, or wants to, wear only black and camel all the time.
So excited to see you, go in this direction for your wardrobe. I am a soft autumn as well, and trying to find RU-vid videos on that color scheme is almost impossible for a minimalistic wardrobe. Gray and black wash me out as well. Love the warmer colors! If you have a minimalistic, soft autumn make up, share that as well!
So good I am just rearanging my wardrobe and sort out, making piles 123 ... mending storing, give away carefully and getting lots of inspiration from you thank you.😊
I have to comment as this deserves more than a like! Perfect length of video with a nicewalk through of your pieces and outfits. I am also here for the cool tone outfit inspiration 😊
Your spring capsule wardrobe would be a winter one for me, here in Brazil, it is very interesting to see the planning of pieces, the quantity and styles of tops, bottoms, third pieces and shoes, which would be totally different for the my style. But, it is very interesting to be able to see the planning and be able to adapt some ideas to my reality. Nowadays, I believe that the failure of the capsule wardrobe for several people, myself included, comes from the lack of self-knowledge about what works and what doesn't, and what are the real needs, than about the restricted number of pieces, which, in fact, it's not even that restricted. For example, in your case there are 8 third pieces, for me, 5 are enough; 9 pants, for me, 5 are enough, 3 pairs of sneakers, for me only 1. Therefore, in my case, in a capsule wardrobe of 40 pieces, the distribution would be different. I really like the way you visually organize the planning of your choices, it helps a lot to understand what would or would not work for me.
Can't wait to see all your outfit ideas! Very inspiring. Your colleague MadeleineOlivia was looking for a color consultant in her latest video. Maybe you can reach out to her? And where is the beautiful wooden cupboard for mugs in your kitchen from? Godaften!
Loved this video, you look so effortlessly beautiful as well which is rare in these types of videos I stopped following a lot of capsule wardrobe videos as none fitted my lifestyle but as a mum with a toddler I feel I can relate a lot more to your one! Perfect video glad to see a pop of colour too ❤
Ooh, I like the sweater under the jean jacket. I just bought a jean jacket. I feel like it will help make my outfits more versatile. I am going to consider a thin spring sweater to add to my wish list. That would make for a warm cozy outfit with the jean jacket.
Simple et efficace as we would say in french....I will ad 1/2 skirts and dresses as I love to wear them with a jeans jacket for exemple. Have a nice week, the magnolias are fleurishing allready here.... Greatings and thanks for your work.
It’s always interesting to see how your seasonal capsules slowly evolve overtime! 😊 I love *Dedicated* ! I discovered the brand in 2021 and ordered a couple pieces for my husband that year- both are so unique, and he always gets compliments when he wears them! I love the t-shirt you got (I’m vegan) and will definitely be checking that out.
Hi, Signe! Loved seeing this capsule for a soft color type (I think I might be secondary soft), but do you have any tips or resources on how to build a capsule for spring or summer as a deep color type? I've had your master class since around Christmas and have really enjoyed the content. Just trying to figure out how to make every calendar season work for me!
Keep your eyes open for a mauve rose blazer. I saw one second hand here in Nashville but it was an XS size. They had it paired with a long charcoal skirt. It looked like your style. 😊
Your video is nothing short of brilliant. I appreciate the inspiration and you may just convert me from a maximalist to a capsule wardrobe after all😂😂😂
This was super useful. When finding my style with your help though, I stumble when I realise that I don't actually know what other styles there are? Apart from casual, classic & edgy. Could you do an overview with all-edgy, all-casual, all-whatever looks? Using photos I suppose as you wouldn't own these pieces.
Hi Martina. Thanks for your comment 🙏🏻 Great question! This is something I teach in lesson 1 of my masterclass (www.uselesswardrobe.dk/capsule-wardrobe-masterclass/) but will also be making a virtual workshop about it very soon (www.eventbrite.com/e/analyze-your-style-profile-for-better-wardrobe-investment-workshop-tickets-593723271287) ❤ I understand it can be hard to identify the “style” of the items, and I think it’s also very much about recognising what “feelings” that go with that. For example there’s a big difference between a casual style personality and a classic, both visually but probably also surrounding what you feel/what you wish to feel when you wear certain items. Signe xx
Such a great inspiration! I‘m trying to incorporate lighter coloured bottoms this year and it’s a bit scary 😅 very much looking forward to seeing you for my consultation soon 🤩
I would live Something Like this for warm Tones. You can Shop black, White and Gray everywhere but where so you find Something in warm autumn colours? :/ I am in Lack of inspiration
Hi, Signe! How would you (or, Do you) incorporate a season's trends into your capsule wardrobe? For example, for this Spring 2023, some trends are florals, silver, frills and bows, bold colours, etc., along with the standard denim, black leather, trench coat, stripes, trouser suits, etc. Thank you!🧡
Hi Mimi! Thanks for asking 🙏🏻 I actually don’t do a lot of trend research to be honest. To me it’s important that my wardrobe looks current and sometimes I might have a more trend-led piece in my wardrobe (New Balance sneakers could be an example of that) but it’s not something I strive for really! It’s a matter of preference. I personally feel better when I don’t let myself get too distracted by trends 😊 that being said, I think the secondhand market is a great way to be a little more mindful when following certain trends as many of the trends we see today have been here before and can be found there in some shape or form 😊🙏🏻 so I’d limit myself to a few trendy pieces and always make sure you’ve got the backbone of your wardrobe sorted and then only have a few of those trend-led/statement pieces to spice up the rest with. Hope that answered your question! 🥰 Signe xx
I found out that I actually create capsule wardrobe for every trip. I pick interchangeable pieces to maximize number of looks while minimizing number of clothing and accessories. I choose colour scheme and major mood for the trip taking into consideration the goal of the trip, the places I am going to visit and my possible activities.
Are you a soft, cool, light or soft, warm, light? Overall your capsule looks cool to me but some of the beiges look warm so I’m confused. I love your style although I’m an Apple. Thank you
I’m soft/cool/light but in the dominant palette there’s a mix of both neutral, warm and cool colours 🥰 most people can wear both so that’s why. But I’m leaning cool and I feel very drawn to those colours too which is perfect 🌸
Correct yes, I tend to only wear those during summer! But you could definitely switch out a few of the trousers for a midi skirt and a few of the shirts for a couple dresses 😊🙏🏻
