In this video you see sponsored angler James Barry as he goes about fishing at Cromwell lake. Having fished the lake through the winter James shows how the tactics can change throughout the changing seasons.
Absolutely quality 👍I loved this video and all the tactics you employed, solid bags are a great way to get a bit of bait out there along with your rig and using a bait boat to get the rigs back to the same spot is great. I would ignore all the dinosaurs out there and there comments. I am actually surprised they could even activate RU-vid to watch this video and comment on It!! 🥴 They are probably sat there complaining about the Ronnie rig, the Chod rig and all the other new rigs that have been invented since they were using a stick and a maggot!! and don't get me started regarding the Deeper!!! The bottom line is you guys have had a great session, caught a lot of lovely Carp and showed your skills at catching them. I for one will be using a BAIT BOAT and solid bags in my next session. While all the Dinosaurs are sat there blanking and complaining about me!! 🙄😮💨 All the best lads and well done 👌🤘👍
Really interesting how this video has been filmed and with out the drone you wouldnt see the lake....do korda not use drones to do their filming for the bennefit of media?keep up the good work pal
Bro, get with the times!! I bet you was complaining when computers were invented, or mobile phones or maybe even cars!! 🤨 Dude you got to move with the times, ok@@MidlandAngler
@@MidlandAnglerwould you prefer a noddy casting over your lines, spombing the entire lake. Crack offs leaving live rigs in the lake. At least a bait boat they can fish without bothering everyone else
Taking all that line because clutch is too slack and also why use the boat when you fishing solid bags. Drone dropping them 😂 not fishing that. Like how much tech you need to fish.
Thanks for the feedback. When carp are as clustered as they were at Cromwell, keeping disturbance down to a minimum is key to catching consistently. Solid bags cast over their heads was only going to spook them.
@DynamiteBaitsTV what about double bag walk down to where the carp were over cast, draw the bag back to the clear spot and lower the bag gently think what would you do if bait boats were band as lots of fisherys ban bait boats and drones go home because you can not think how to sort a problem out without resorting to using a bait boat even a baiting pole takes some skill and would have given the carp captures more credibility I'm not knocking you but it does take the skill out of carp fishing anyone can go get a drone to sort the location out which is number one in my book in water craft then casting to the fish with out them knowing there being fish for working out how to set the trap what rig ect and a plan to get the rig in position with out disturbing them its all about the hunt much more rewarding then well you get the point think about it I just don't like the way Caro fishing is going and the next generation will lose interest if they rock up drone up find the fish bait boat 3 bags to the spots real them it pictures done put on instagram next week do the same not my idea of why I started carp fishing over 45 years ago and still fish every week to this day I won't fish a lake that allows bait boats or join a syndicate that allows them times are changing I know but the side of carp fishing I love hasn't got to go that way hopefully 🤔👍

Drone to find the fish boat to place the bait takes all the skill out of carp fishing, not what carp fishing is all about in my eyes if I had to carp fish like that I would pack the game in and I've been carp fishing for over 50 years just my opinion 🤔
Appreciate your feedback mate. When the carp are stacked up like that in the swim though you don't want to do anything that will spook them unnecessarily - this includes casting solid bags back over their heads. The bait boat was by far the best way of getting a bait back out on the spot without disturbing them. James had already spotted the fish next to the aerator before we started filming. The drone is used to give viewers a different perspective of the lake and show how carp react to bait as it falls through the water.
