Great morning trip with my buddy Tom. I kept the presentation simple. VIP Line Lock, VIP 18” bumper, VIP pre tied leaders and of course VIP Spinner Blades.
I met you at the Sportsman show. You spent your valuable time with me and I appreciated it. You are not only a great guide and fisherman, you are just a very nice guy. A true quality person!
I’ve never been into combat fishing regardless of how many fish are being caught. I get outside to get away from people and couldn’t enjoy something like this at all.
It’s not too awful bad in there. It can be if you have drunk knuckleheads not paying attention or people undercutting the route. When you fish it. Get in line. Get into the rhythm. But he is right in the intro when he said. Seeing it gives you a bit of hope.
Agreed. If you can be patient and just stay in rhythm, it’s all good. Just keep in mind that people don’t alway cut you off on purpose. So have a little grace.
Like there will be 75 boats in the hole and somebody hooks up and everybody in your boat looking at you like "Why wasn't it me?".Random re-enforcement???
@@VIPOutdoors1 I really don't give a fuck anymore but back when the Umatilla got it's first returns back I was all by myself for about 4 years. They have the Walla Walla cranked up now too but I think the river is closed up there this year. The Walla Walla Spring Chinook Hatchery Program is a collaborative effort to restore the spring Chinook salmon population in the Walla Walla River basin. The program was completed in 2022 and is dedicated to developing a locally adapted broodstock and producing up to 500,000 spring Chinook smolts for release. The hatchery is located on the South Fork Walla Walla River, about 9 miles east of Milton-Freewater, Oregon." It has all gotten nuts now!The Indians never historically caught any spring Chinook anywhere on the Columbia and everybody lies but they are sitting at the bottom of all the fish ladders loading totes now since Obama. They are catching more with rod and reel now than with gillnets.
A guy like me busts his ass all week then has to get up at 2am to find a parking spot because all the fish bum tax evading guides are trying to catch a loaf of free government cheese.
I appreciate you being a hard working, tax paying American but I hope you’re not throwing all guides into the same category. Most of us run a legitimate business that requires the same if not more hours than some people’s 9-5. Please keep it positive on my channel.
@@VIPOutdoors1 I also used to guide and most of my money came from cash tips,I could write all my expenditures off my taxes and I killed way too many expensive government fish.
@@VIPOutdoors1 Out of my ethics for nature and the economics of pumping plastic shit from China I decided that it wasn't such a noble way go make a living.
@@VIPOutdoors1 While you glory grabbers and government cheese truck chasers are doing your thing I will be doing avian abatement and pikeminnow fishing.
