SPRING CLEANING | SMALL KITCHEN CLEAN AND DECLUTTER MOTIVATION| DEEP CLEAN WITH ME | CLEANING 2021 

I use wax or parchment paper on the tops of cabinets, that way whenever they get really dirty and grimy I just remove the old wax paper and put fresh paper on. I also throw the range vent in the dishwasher, it gets it nice and clean. I love your kitchen! Have a blessed week. - Arlene

I like the tip with the foil on the bottom of the oven. I'm actually cleaning tomorrow when hubby goes to work and is not underfoot lol. He's worse than our toddler twins. I also keep my first aid and meds in our kitchen on the very top shelf out of reach of our kiddos. This video made me want to clean today but gotta wait till tomorrow. Thank you for sharing. Great motivation. I use to always use foil in the oven and I had stopped after the last huge mess I had to scrub out of it it now has foil it’s so much easier 💕

I know I’m kinda late to the party on this but I’ve learned the hard way that lining the bottom with foil can cause heat damage to the oven. As an alternative it’s ok to use it in the bottom rack rather than on the bottom. Just trying to save anyone from having to buy a new oven! Love your videos! I’m always motivated by them!!

We keep our meds in the kitchen and first aid items in the bathroom. After watching you organize your kitchen I’m almost motivated to organize mine. May need to watch a couple more times lol

Blinds are a pain we replaced all of ours so I pick a room and kinda put into daily pickup routine I will use a swiffer or any duster and wipe down front and back once a week. It takes like ten seconds and it keeps dust from building up. I just choose a room per day so you really don't notice an extra task. I only occasionally have to spot clean if something splattered on it. They have been near spotless for almost a year now.

We keep our medicine in the top cupboard in the kitchen also It works for us.. also with the over view of your beautiful clean kitchen the cupboard where you keep the pots and pans stacked on top of each other ( mind used to be like this also lol 😆) a handy hint I learned was turn the lids upside down so the pots and pan stacked on each other.. 😉😊

That wall on the other side of the kitchen would look cute with a banquette or cabinets!

I thought everyone kept medicine in the kitchen. :) We keep ours about the stove in the small cabinets. Works great.

Putting vinegar and baking soda inside the dish washer once a month helps to keep it clean it would also help to add a little bleach to keep the mold away

Kitchen looks great hun. Nice video i clean behind stove when i remember to get someone to help. At 64 and disabled can not clean like i use to. I had bad ocd in my younger days.and cleaned all the time. But all i can do is wish i could do what all i want to now. Thanks hun.❤

I definitely need to declutter my kitchen. I have things I never even use. As for cleaning behind my stove, I’m only going to clean it because we are in the process of buying a new one. I don’t want to scare the delivery guy who is removing the old one to put the new one in with the nasty filth. Lol. I’m with you guys. I have a bin with the medicines in my kitchen cabinet. My family does the same thing. I thought that was the norm.

My kids love medicine too! We have a medicine cabinet in our bathroom/ laundry room. My husband always tried to get rid of it and just get a regular mirror but I tell him no 🤣🤣 it holds so much

I can't believe your talking about medicines! My husband keeps his medicine in the kitchen and just today I said "why the heck do you keep your medicine in the kitchen for?" His reason is it reminds him to take it since it is by the coffee cups for his morning coffee. Also, he is concerned that my 2 year old grandaughter can get to it. So I agreed lol. You got me moving today girl!!

For an all purpose cleaner, you could try the Grove Collaborative concentrates. I love the orange & rosemary scent and the lavender is nice too

My apartment manager use to take her aluminum mini blinds outside and spray them with the hose. But I’ve soaked them in the bathtub before. I think if you had a steam shot you could spray them as well.

Use some TSP to clean the grease, it melts away. Wear gloves though it’s hard on your skin. I don’t clean under and behind the stove and refrigerator very often. Maybe 2-3 times a year. I pull out the bottom drawer on my stove to sweep under it a little more often though.😉

Hey just a tip...quick .vacuum your drawers and cabinets as you go.... then wipe...a lot easier and faster . Btw I luv your decor.

Everything looks great, Karrie. You get so much done! I wish I still had your energy. I am 67. They say those car mitts from the Dollar Tree work great for blinds. I am going to try them. I usually use a sock to get to each blade. Or use my feather duster just to get the dust off. Blinds are no fun!

The process isn't fun, but it always feels soooo good afterwards. Love having everything clean and so organized ❤

We keep our medicine in the kitchen as well. It’s a lot handier. I think I clean under my appliances four times a year. Every season. I’m older, have no little ones at home so I have more time. 😊

Take them down and spray with scrubbing bubbles works good on blinds and silk flowers

I clean behind my stove when I replace my oven! 🤣🤣🤣jk probably once a year if I think of it I’ve had many people tell me that they put the microwave filter(s) in their diwshawasher and they actually are squeaky clean. Love this. I dont buy expensuve cleaners. Pin sol and murphys oil soap. I dont buy cleaners for the smell. Just use some essential oils in the kitchen and my pine cleaner and love how it smells.

I've always kept our meds in the kitchen too! We keep the regularly used ones (vitamins, headache meds and the kids epi pens) in a large basket up on top of the fridge (that's not see through). We keep more dangerous meds in the cabinets above the fridge. We should probably clean behind our stove by now (oops...been a year since we moved in and who knows if the older couple that lived here ever did)!

Great cleaning motivation girl! Kitchens really get dirty what with cooking and all. I have never seen another You Tuber clean the little filter over their stove fan or pull the stove out and clean behind it. They are really easy to pull out and put back. Great job with this one.

For cleaning your stainless steel, we had an appliance repair man once recommend WD-40... I thought that would be a complete mess but surprisingly, it worked really well! Doesn’t smell as nice as other products but it might help your stubborn areas.

I use disinfecting wipes on my kitchen window sink blinds. I found with those you don't have to apply hardly any pressure on the blinds when trying to clean them.

I’ve always kept my medicine in the kitchen, I’ve always found it odd for it to be in the bathroom. I agree about cleaning products, I’ve tried Mrs Meyers and I don’t really care for them. Never used Jaws. Ive been in my house 3 years and haven’t cleaned under stove. 😳

Just thought I'd suggest you get Krud Kutter for tough messes. Its amazing. Anytime I cant get a mess up with my normal cleaner, I use it and its amazing. Its at Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot

Hi Karrie 😊 I have a suggestion for cleaning your stainless steel that I swear by, it's the only thing I have used for the last 7 years. WD40. Seriously, spray it on and wipe with a paper towel. It leaves a nice shiny finish behind and you will be surprised by the dirt it pulls off.

Hey Karrie just some info I love the lavender scent of mRs. Meyers but in Target they sell the concentrate bottle and what I do is i fill my bottle with water and add very little of the lavender a few drops that way it’s not strong and it’s one of my favorite even though I’m old school I love the smell of pine sol and Clorox 😂

Hi I am new. I am loving this video. I follow several and they have been throwing music in the videos that needless to say not motivating. I also agree with you on the cleaners. I admit I got sucked into the hype from other channels and well, less than satisfied. Plus, I love smelling the clean! I also rewatch a lot of their videos. You catch a lot of twisted up statements. I recommended to one a product to help keeping things cleaner and less work and I got a half answer of "oh I don't recommend it cause not everyone could afford it." It was a $20 dollar item to keep food from falling through the crack between stove and counter top. In other words, I would rather not suggest something that may help viewers keep from a cleaning step (such as the aluminum foil in the oven) because that is something they can watch me clean. Life is messy enough! I need all the short cuts I can get! That's why I hit subscribed! Plus as kids get older there are always new types of messes. I have a good feeling about your channel. Oh, and I always keep meds in the kitchen too!

I have tried WD-40 to clean my stainless steel appliances. It works fine for me. You might not like it because of the smell.

Am I the only one thinking all that precious wasted space next to the stove? The builder/flipper should of made that usable space. I would be thinking of ways to use that space lol.

I keep medicine in the kitchen too. I did it because of the kids when they were little. They’re grown now and I guess I still do it out of habit. Anyways your kitchen looks great.

When I had white blind I would take them down and let them soak in the tub with hot water and clorox then dry them off and put them back up
