28yrs ago I slept at a mill with a running stream and had, the best sleep of my life. Years later I was in a hotel room in Nassau with a working fountain outside my room. I was thrilled only to be gutted...they shut it off at night. Love the sound of running water!

If you put a large stone in your small little bird bath, bees can drink from it, so they wont drown I love your new water bowl.

I have little shallow dishes around the beds with marbles and they seem to love that in the summer! I don’t think the cats will allow any bees in their new fountain 😅🐝💕🌷

Hello Gillian 😊 . At first I forgot to put captions on and it was not the same. Then I thought you were inadvertently going to show us your face in the old water feature! 😁. When gardening I am glad you have 2 hands again . 🖐🖐 😉. Good use of kitchen / toilet roll holders. I used them around my windscreen wipers when winter frost was expected at night. I had so many requests for subtitles, so I tried out his way of doing them instead and it’s helping people a lot more! Yes, I’m kept so busy right now, and it’s a little bit of a struggle to put out weekly videos atm, but I’m determined to do it as you’re all such great motivation for me! The ferns, the stream brought about absolute delight to me. When I go back home I too sit near our tiny rivulet , play , laugh, meditate & stare & stare at the water for hours. The kitties are chonks now - it must be all that winter fluff and fur!

Ha, yes, they all have very thick fluffy coats. Whereas Chubbers is a chonk! He's just a very big cat, and I think it may be because he was neutered so late, as we found him as a stray when he was already a mature male. ❤

I love your new water feature! Like you, I love the sound of water so it's slightly ironic, and a cruel twist of fate, that I've ended up living in the dry barren desert that is London. The only bit of rain we get is rather oily and as for water features, urgh, the Thames just doesn't pass muster! Love that rushing stream in the woods. It's quite magical! It's not surprising that water gets into all my writing and your videos really help me to get the "real feel" of nature (I literally have never experienced a stream in the woods!) In my current WIP, my heroine gets awfully wet what with woodland streams, a lake, and a fountain, but when she finds the sea, she's in heaven! It also rains constantly and there are at least ten thunder storms.....maybe I should cut back a bit on those.....! Looking forward to seeing those sweetpeas in the summer 🥰🌞🌻🌼🌺🌸💮💖

Thank you for another lovely video. I was amused about the sweet cicely - as I have just bought some, 2 plants. Have been looking for it for ages, I think its uncommon in our country! It may be marginal where I live ... so I was impressed and pleased to see the root system, and hope mine will grow the same. Good luck with your wee seedlings .... blessings. 🙏🙏🙏

Aw lovely! It is a beautiful plant, but definitely more suitable to an area where it can just go wild and spread as it pleases. I already see some more peaking through the soil 🫠 So I’ll replant it elsewhere on the farm as it seems to really like it here!😅💚☘️

Hello Gillian! This video is amazing! The opening of the video it’s just beautiful it looks like a big green heart with the amazing rainbow 🌈! Just like the pictures we made for Saint Patrick day with little ones in school… The sound of the water stream brought me back memories when I was a child playing in a similar creek with my sister and cousin. 😔You placed me right there for a moment! The sound of water brings peace to my soul❤ The new water piece it’s beautiful - it looks gorgeous on your garden! Aw! Those tulips , daffodils and other flowers are beautiful! Aw Yani, I'm so touched it brought back memories of happy times spent with your dear sister. The sounds of water really relaxes the body and mind, and has such a soothing effect. For the bowl, I used a rust inhibitor oil that was recommended for steel. Just needs two coats to protect it and prevent further rusting 😊💖🌼

I always watch your videos several times as they are delightful. Like a cat purring on my lap, the sound of rushing water brings peace and contentment as well as lowering blood pressure. Thank you for some cheer on a sour day. The new water feature looks like it belongs there. The flowing water looks so clean and inviting, a perfect place for a picnic! Question- do you have a favorite myth, song, etc associated with the Fae? I watch The Brehon Academy to learn about Ireland's mythological roots, but love hearing more about it. All the best to you!

Aw so glad you enjoyed the video and it lifted your spirits. I do have a love of Irish mythology and folklore. I think one of my favourite myths is that of the Children of Lir. It always seemed such a poignant and sad tale, and it left an impression on me as a child when I read it in school.❤
