Where I live I only have asp, zander, catfish and some bass. that's why you are not seeing me fishing for the pike, trout, perch or chub. hopefully the situation will change soon. cheers man ...
thanks mate. I did try there but haven't got any activity. there is some fishing ban for certain species, but not for asp, zander or catfish ... it's up to the fisherman to avoid fishing them when they are vulnerable and busy with other stuff. cheers mate ...

I was wondering, why you don't catch many catfish while jigging with soft bait or also on a vertical lure. River Po is full of catfish ot not? And why don't you try catch catfish more often? 🙂
Hey mate. River Po WAS full of catfish. Now it’s just history. In my area, I think that there left maximum 20-25% of the catfish that were before. 10 back I was catching them while asp fishing and in the night I was afraid to throw a lure with any setup except the extra heavy one, no I fish for zander with a medium rod that cast up to 17 grams 😂. So yeah, I don’t have time to dedicate for 5-10 catfish in one year. Cheers mate 🤘🍻
