Thank you for the answer!! Yes hunting personally I'm fairly successful at. Teaching my son what he needs to know. However, i do fish, but IM not as skilled in fishing. I love catching brookies, but don't dare eat keepers down my way. We catch release. Catching and eating Brookies up north, around your area are prime/safe fish to consume. Any way blaa blaa blaaa lol, thank you for responding to my question. I appreciate you both very much, and really support your journey.

I love salmon so much lol! Brookies are deliciousness too!! I gotta find waters that are safe enough to eat them. Other than that, down my way, it's catch release.

I would have eaten that salmon lol! I want my first dog!!! It's expensive, and waiting for the right time.. Definitely getting a lab.

When is the bug season for Maine? I can tell that you guys are fishing in the early spring and the bugs aren't out yet. Ive been to Maine, Portage lake area in September and there were no bugs then.

Since the smelt run is over can I still expect to be able to catch some Brookies and the entrance and exit of Allagash lake ?

Unfortunately it’s a hit or miss, you could get a couple here and there but probably a lot of fallfish.. you’d have better like trolling outside the stream infront of the campsites for togue and a possible brookie here and there. White weeping willow lures work great.

Not sure on the exact brand name, I’m sure if you typed in pole holders on google you’d find them somewhere. I like them! Keenan doesn’t 🤷‍♀️

Fallfish, they’re Maines largest bait fish, and to me they’re obnoxious and junk.. 😅

@@AGirlFromMaine Fallfish are also simply called chub. The fallfish is a North American freshwater fish, a chub in the family Cyprinidae. The fallfish is the largest minnow species native to Eastern North America.

Hi there! Unfortunately it’s illegal in Maine to guide fishing trips without a fishing guide’s license, Keenan only holds his hunting guide’s license at the moment. We are planning on starting a fishing guides business in the future but need to finish our home first!
