Oh my YüNan, you have really been busy!! I like your new pond and brick paths. I too find myself moving things around in the garden. It’s like rearranging furniture in the house to try something different. I knew you had some trees come down in that bad stone but I didn’t realize there was that many as I looked around. I see you have had to redesign a lot of you beds due to all the sunlight they are now receiving. Sure keeps you busy! Some of my alliums I planted last fall are ready to burst open. You were my inspiration on planting those. I’m looking for a good location to plant some Jo-Pye-weed seeds this year. Can’t wait to see your Mountain Laurels in bloom along with your Rhododendrons.
Good morning Mary! Over the years, I’ve realized that gardening is not only my passion, my therapy as well. Thank God He gave me strength, wisdom, joy and peace! By the way, 16:8 intermittent fast method really helped me a lot, it not only gives me energy, it fixed my physical problems too. Oh yes, this 2 acre property used to have trees tress and trees when I started gardening here. All maples and oaks got bigger and bigger, all other ornamental trees and shrubs got smaller and smaller. Gardening without vision can leads to some kind of mess, and here I am here busy solving problems while continue my adult educations 😜 I often forget names of my plants after a long winter, but hey, I’ll just have to learn again, what a privilege we have on earth! After the daffodils, it’s showtime for allium! We are having frosts these couple of days, but after this weekend, I think I’ll be safe to start annuals. Mountain laurels performed so well last year, I wonder they will do the same this year, and I do hope my rhododendrons bloom better this year. Oh yes, I’ve checked my wisteria, it’s going to be glorious! I wish to see your garden some day Mary😊
