Stay strong and don't feel pressured by those in the past that have asked "when will you finally get the house built". We all have so much admiration and respect for everything you do with your own hands rather than paying someone else to quickly build a second house for you, or do meaningless or unnecessary renovations to your home. It seems when we work hard life has meaning. Taking the easy route seems to make it easier to become materialistic. I have been guilty of this myself. I watch the two of you as an example of how I would like to be.
Well said. I love your house as is it is very cozy and having a bigger house only means more work in the long run. That’s time you don’t have. Do things your way and never be pressured by others. Love your fifestyle.
I've been watching you two from the beginning. I've always loved your sprit and think that we are kindred in how we look at this earth. I feel that you represent truth, what is needed in this world. I've never done this before, but I just became a patron. Love you guys ❤️
That really is a lot of work hope you can manage without burn out. And you managed to get the video done! 😉 I always love to find a talasbuan video has been uploaded 🧡
Summer has arrived, finally, and you already made a long list of projects to do. Take your time, there are always things to do, to fix, never end. Ivar is so cute, as always. Thanks for the video, looking forward to the next one.
That's how one feels most of the time, when you start a big project on your own, that you work from dawn to dust and nothing seems to be done but then you start to finally see progress and it takes time believe me but that's when you will feel encouraged, you would starts to feel like I did it, and then you will be so proud of yourself for achieving all that on your own. Its a hard journey but the fruits are so sweet if you can preserve until the end.
Dear Tova, Mathias and Ivar - God Bless you! You are an amazing family with everything that you do and accomplish to live the life style that you have. ❤ You may have a lot of projects going on, but never feel pressured to post videos. It's your timing and we all understand. What you are doing is not easy and everything takes time. Just know that you are accomplishing a lot with each and everything that you touch - even if it's not finish. I wish I lived where you live to come help you with your projects. My family and I just recently started watching your RU-vid videos and we love your videos - very beautiful. Your little Ivar is so precious and smart. We love how you raise him to be open and to love nature. Thank you so much for inviting all of us into your world. 🙂 Cheers from Illinois, USA
Wow! that is quite a list. Ivor is at one of the most charming ages....although I know that he takes a lot of time because he is into everything. As of the house, I am sure no one wants it done more that you guys. I just enjoy watching the farmstead grow. Grateful that you share.
You are both such incredibly hard workers and have such amazing goals for your farm.I am happy to help in what little way I can as a patron.Thank you for the beautiful look inside your life.Prayers headed your way as you work toward your goals.❤
It's so fun to watch Ivar. When you were loading the sheep he was walking around, with his arms swinging, like he had just done a really big job. I know that you're working hard but it is a joy to watch you accomplish things and then have a nice hot sauna at the end of your day with a dip in the river. I'm sure I've never missed an episode since you began. The transformation of the farm and of the 2 of you as a couple and as parents is a joy to watch.
It is inspirational to see you create, edit, and post; even when you are overwhelmed with an exhaustive list of tasks. A few words of encouragement; I’ve been watching for a few years and have noticed your videography skills continually improve with each post. It is a true joy to witness. Thank you for sharing your craft and your life! From an onlooker in the US. Ash
Spring is here, the days are long, the grass is growing, and there are chores to be done. Very nice video-the sheep were really happy to get on the grass, it is a joy to watch them eat with such enthusiasm. I'm looking forward to seeing the steers, the breed, and your plans. The hens were quite vocal.😃 Thanks for sharing your Spring adventures and it is always fun to see Ivar helping out.
Another great and relaxing video. Ivar is growing fast. I love the way you guys communicate with him and just let him be. A happy and a calm childhood indeed. Lots of things to do but enjoy the summer as a family too. Stay well and healthy.
Beautiful people, there is no rush where there is harmony - peaceful mind is the metronome of things done and things to do. I know you know it. It shows. I wish you a beautiful summer!
Gratitude dear friends for sharing with us the great quantity of projects for this summer! Crazy busy! It never stops. I'm so very happy you have the sauna ti unwind and find calm peaceful times in the midst of very busy days. Sending good vibes to the three of you 💙🙏😊
Se on niin kaunis! Olet tehnyt hienoa työtä. Minusta sauna on ihana. Kerro meille, jos tarvitset ylimääräisiä isovanhempia, jotka osaavat työskennellä myös lampaiden, vuohien, hevosten ja kanojen parissa 😉❤️
Last September, which is our spring time here on the other side of the globe, I too had the spring fever of listing what jobs had to be done, just like you. Made my list, set my self a time by which the whole of it had to be done and worked on it with the tenacity of an ant. That meant starting the day with looking at the list what job can be done on that day, rain , hail or shine and each day had to have something crossed off the list. The problem is, when the spring sunshine arrives we all tend to think we have all the energy in the world, but it does set us up for disappointment with our selves if we can't finish it all. (Not to mention if I give my self some unexpected extra work, like re-painting cabinets ) On the end I managed to get it all done as planned, but there were some hair raising moments and frayed nerves, wondering desperately whether I can do it all. Perhaps the best advice in spring time is to remind our selves not to 'bite more than we can chew'. :)
I was so glad to hear your to do list. It seems like all of us do that in the spring. But yours has quite a lot of huge projects. You all always get so much done though. It’s amazing. Thank you for taking the time to put these videos out for us. Hello from colorado USA.
Putting up priorities!!! It can be frustrating if you don t manage all you want to do! Be kind for yourself, decide priorities and finish one after the other. It depends a lot on your character if you live well with a too long list, know yourself. Thanks for sharing, I love your videos and lifestyle!
Men kära nån, vilken lista❤!! Ni är ett team med mycket kunskap och har verkligen också god hjälp av släktingar och vänner så det ska nog gå😊👍// vänliga hälsningar Susanne
Tova, Mathias and Ivar it is always such a joy to see you all! That is quite a list to accomplish. I know you will do well. One day at a time. The blessings you have around you never cease to amaze me. Your work so hard and it truly shows. I cannot get enough of the pictures of the country side, rivers, animals, and of course all of your smiles. TY for all you do and the love you give in every video. God bless and love in Christ ~John
I don't know how you get anything done with all the work that you do! We will be happy to see your videos when you get the time to make them. I hope you will be able to get all the projects done or most of them and some building on your other home. You can only do what you can do. Stay healthy and safe, both of you!
It takes so much to keep a home going...just do what you can do & eventually it gets done ! Always excited when your video is uploaded. We are having a much cooler spring than normal, but I can get more done without the extreme heat just yet !!!
You beautiful family! You are giving the world a powerful image of human and animal life dependent on plants and the soil. A regenerative life sending ripples away and near.
A strong work ethic is what life is all about. You are shaping the world you live in. You are a part of the changing seasons. A To Do list is only a guide to help steady your course. Nature may have other plans. Change is inevitable. Start by starting...
I only have a 1/4 acre and a small garden down the road, I am exhausted trying to get gardens in and tend sick chickens. I can't imagine all you do, just keep smiling, it will get done or it won't, and it will be okay. Gud välsigna.
hej, you three. anothe short view alt your life at Talasbuan. for your coming Projects don´t put too much pressure at yourself and be mor confident at the work you do. For a non professional woodworker, Mattias, you doing an incredible job with your "Fastu" build. Spring is also for me a buisy time. Everything in the garden has to be prepared for the season. Thank you for sharing and stay well.
Love the video. Kids grow up quickly before you know it he will be helping you. One day at a time. Eventually the jobs will get done on your time scale . Look forward to the next video.
Your little boy is really a mix of you both... last video, I found he looked more like Tova; this video, I find he looks more like you!!!! conclusion... a beautiful mix of both of you! 😅
Mathias I was starting to get a bit of anxiety when the to do list kept going and going haha. It's great you're having all these projects, I love projects like that. I hope you manage to do as much as you would like this summer and also have a bit of time for climbing ;)
Greetings! Look up electroculture if not already done so. And use copper pots for cooking and boiling water and copper tools for your gardening. Blessings!
I’m happy to see you are doing so many projects!! I live in Calgary Alberta Canada 🍁 and many years the month of May we get snow too! We didn’t get any this year so maybe a better year for berries. Wishing all of you the best!!
Great video once again! :) The sauna looks so nice. I try to go to the sauna in the city almost everyday here in the US. I love it. Can't wait to see your male cows thanks for all of your hard work making these videos I look forward to them.
Bravo guys! So nice to catch up with you a bit! Everything looks beautiful from the USA. It looks l like you’ve made a lot of progress (especially since we have not had the opportunity to watch for a while). Bonne continuation and best wishes for a good season! Hugs!
Steers is exactly correct. Idk how to say that in Swedish though. Lol You are the busiest little family I know. 😃 In my experience, cattle in general are much harder to keep behind fences than sheep are. I'm glad you're getting steers and not a bull. They can be very difficult to work with and can be mean. I would hate to see Tova or the baby get hurt. Even cow's with nursing calves can have bad attitudes. Lol
Happy sheep!😂 strong parents and so inspirational! It is autumn here and i am feeling the opposite calling of more indoor pursuits. Some crafting and indoor repairs, long nights and short days are upon us. Blessings to you 3!😊
Your videos are so lovely to watch 😍 i admire you so much, your list will get done eventually put no pressure on yourselfs. Your smiles make me smile 😀 lvar is still the hardest working little lad ❤
You are so inspiring! I look forward to your videos every month! I’ve been watching for quite a while now. It’s been so fun to watch Ivar grow up! I especially loved watching him hop with the toad!
Beautiful camera close-ups on the domestic life at Talasbuan! Oh, the work load! All is done in good time--no need to rush through--life is too short as it is. At day's end, your reward is the sauna--relaxation after a long day's work. Ivar is getting tall; no longer the toddler! Sending good thoughts as you labor through your spring time projects. 🙏🏼❤
Lots of work ahead but lots to be proud of already. In the meantime, I’m sure there’s a few Australian sheep farmers who would share some advice on shearing technique. They take their competitions very seriously!😉
17:10 You are married to the most beautiful woman in the world! It's a long To Do list but I'd say them windows are your Video priority. Also, to learn sheep shearing technique you need to waste your bandwidth on watching "The Thornbirds." You'll at least have something bothersome to think about while you shear. I think you guys are doing a fantastic job and that Ivar is your actual greatest project so far.
The lists never end. I'm lucky if I get half done in a season. It's always a challenge not to beat myself up for not finishing the list but I guess there is always next spring.
You have a wonderfull life, but I see the hard work and that serms to be sometimes like a battle. Keep attention to yourelves, your power and stay healthy. Tova looks a bit tired. I'm impressed how fast winter switches to " summer" in May.
In days gone by, when your lifestyle was 'normal', communities and greater families, could assist and make the drudgery of rural living more endurable. Having gone your route for many years with little help, it makes the shift into 'easier' living understandable; and explains why people welcomed trackers and cars and washing machines and supermarkets and, unfortunately, all the evils of convenience! I can only say, it will not get easier - until and if, your son/s and daughter/s grow up to be part of it. 🤞😊
You may want to watch Sandy Brock, she raises sheep in Canada. She has a gentleman come and shear her sheep. He is very talented. Not saying your not ☺, but he may have some tips. Take care and happy spring.
