Just found your channel and I look forward to following along. I live in STL as well so it will be nice to have you as a local resource. Thank you for doing what you are doing for the DIY homeowners!

I'm using pre emergent for the first time this year. I don't know why but I feel weird using it! Let's Go!

I’ve only used it a few times but I do like it, you’ll see it used more frequently this year.

I get tons of crabgrass pressure from the boulevard and driveway from the heat. Since I started using the WDG 65 in these areas it’s virtually gone. Anything in the yard I hand pull very early in the plant life. Integrated weed management 👍 thanks for the content Brandon looking forward to a great turf year!

I've done a split pre-emergent application here in ohio for many years.. weather can be so drastic with up & down temps....I typically apply a lighter app end of march, with a heavier rate 4 weeks later....seems to keep up with the crazy weather
@TurfCulture

Split apps are great, especially for reduced root pruning.

Good to see you back at it. Stl had a false start Monday. Back to cold weather for a few weeks. Can’t wait for the “reel” season to start.

Never really understood what is the practical difference between the fall feeding (winterizer) and early spring nitrogen? Isn’t it just sitting there all winter anyway?
@TurfCulture
@TurfCulture Год назад
Fall nitrogen reserves are stored in the plant, early spring feeding encourages too much top growth and decreases root shoots.

I know from your vids you have a few different cultivars and blends, I'm curious if you like one or a combo more than the others?

I really like the Artimuss so far, the Bonfire in the front yard looks really good at low mowing heights.. only time will tell for the summer.

It’s a Barenbrug seed that they inherited from Jacklin, it’ll be available very soon.

Gotta use the focus lock on your camera, it keeps racking between you and the background. Pretty distracting
