Rachel, why is there a thumb down on this tutorial? I just don't get it. That must have been a mistake. BECAUSE you have created another beauty. I do wish l could do line work like you do. Mwahhhh x - thank you so much for sharing Rachel x Each of my mandalas are definitely unique [for unique read different sized dots lol - I'm too heavy handed at times!] What does help me is that I bought a lazy Susan in January, spinning the rock really helps :) So if someone wants to design a smaller lazy susan for rocks - I'll buy one! [if I don't take my jigsaw to the one I have!]

I tried for the first time resin on my painted rocks using your tutorial and they turned out great I do have a question the bottom of the rock is very flat ans somewhat rough looking is that normal I used a plastic lid, should I be using something different?

Do you dry your resined rocks on something specific like wax paper ect.? Also do you paint and resin the back? Sorry if you have already answered these questions. I love this design so beautiful.

Thank you!! I pay my trained rocks in a large plastic container with a lid. It is one of the ones you can roll under your bed for storage I let them dry in there safe from cat hair or debris. They pop right off after 10-15 hours of dry time. I usually paint the back black and resin them as well. I soap the resin on like a bar of soap and try not to use too much. Less is better. It goes a long way!! Check out my two tutorials. "Rockin the resin" and "have you hit rock bottom".

Lovely! If you are still looking for inspiration I’d love to suggest an heirloom chicken (hen) with her chicks, teaching them to scratch etc. So many gorgeous examples if you check online. Just an idea... Please keep posting, your talent really helps me keep going at this time. ❤️❤️❤️
