Hi ER, I'm a plant evolutionary biologist and happened to enjoy your walk and talk during my workday. It's delightful to listen to you talk about nature and evolution and be reminded and relaxed from inside my office. Love the message about all of us originating from a single ancestor: plants and animals developed vascular systems independently, which speaks volumes about the efficiency of a good transport system. We're always among kin when in nature, never alone. They can remind us of who we are.

Something I love about ER that I only recently noticed is that he is very humble--oftentimes when stating something he has learned he will say "as I understand it" or "to my knowledge." It's a very admirable trait, just thought I might point that out. Love our inspiring uncle E :)
