We still have snow on the ground here. Our Walmart has NO plants and none of the nurseries are open at least till mid-May. But, I can dream! Al least I have lots of Spring inside.

I enjoyed your video today.The thing I was interested in was that my front porch is about the same size as yours.I have already bought black flat paint for out side use.I have the little black bench and grey floor .I already have a Blk/why checked rug for the door and an assortment of pots and Blk hanging baskets .I like the yellow trailing Jasmine and was thinking of that for one corner on an elevated pot , then green fern and smaller pots sitting in foreground LEFT. On Right side I was thinking of my little bench /white pillows and some more pots along in front of this bench and step.Maybe a fern behind the bench on a tall wrought iron pot holder /fern there .I like your ideas and colors you’ve chosen but it’s alittle too girlie for me .Hope to keep up with you in the future

I love everything on the porch, however, I would paint the little riser your lantern is on by paibtibg it black. It would tie in with your black planter on the opposite side.

Next time you can unscrew a broom handle and attach it to where the paint roller handle screws in and then you can paint without having to be on your knees!

Breaking up the root mass before planting helps potted plants to grow. Otherwise they roots might just keep spiraling around.
