Continuing on my 33-day solo backpacking adventure in the spring of 2023. In this episode a downpour creates a minor flash flood and I chat about quicksand. This 12-part series takes a deeper dive into the route I dubbed the Grand Escalante Loop and covers over 400 miles through southern Utah's amazing canyon country, remote plateaus, and high elevations.
