As a McCoy descendant, I love McCoy pottery! I inherited so many pieces from my relatives. Such great collector items! 😊 My absolute favorite thrifting find was an old mathematics book made in 1800! I put it in my old secretary 😊

My mother's cook book was the American Woman's Cookbook given to her by her mother on her wedding day. That was in 1948. I have it but not in as good of shape. She cooked many a recipe from that book. Sweet memories. I know you will enjoy it.

Miranda, what great fine I think my favorite is probably the first framed print with a beautiful frame and the beautiful picture and I love those baskets. They remind me of the Easter baskets I had as a child.

Hi Maranda. Your enthusiasm over each purchase is so refreshing. So many young adults are not interested in thrifting or collecting older pieces. I have three kids in their forties and their taste is totally different than mine. Which is ok I guess but a little bit disheartening. My mother loved rooster and hens in her chicken and I love them in mine. Of course in all fairness to my kids, I grew up in the country, they grew up in the city. I hope we will always have books to read at least while I'm stilling living. I just love the look and feel of opening a book and turning the pages. Maranda, you are just so sweet. I appreciate your style you are creating for your home and being PATIENT and gradually picking out your purchases. I definitely liked and subscribed to your channel. Can't wait for each new visit. I love all the treasures you found. When I met my husband he had a whole house full of McCoy his wife that died collected it. We sold a lot of it when we had our store and then auctioned some off. I still have some left. I just love all the soft greens and pinks and blues for spring. Looking forward to seeing your bedroom come together.

I love, love, pink and blue!!! I have been using those colors since 1988 and still love them!🩵🩵🩵 I love those pink and blue dishes but that gold framed picture of the flower print is my favorite thing that you got!!!

So many wonderful finds!!! ! Those vintage books are amazing!! I found a couple myself recently at our local flea market for just $1. My husband asked what I was going to do with them and I told him I’m going to decorate with them like Maranda from RU-vid does!! 😂 I have gotten so many neat decorating ideas from your videos. I have the same Mccoy pattern in a set of 4 mixing bowls. I know the smaller bowls are newer,but the huge mixing bowl is 100 years old.

Omigod how funny I literally thrifted the exact same book of houseplants last saturday!

Today I purchased Three milk glass Reticulated Plates with fruit on them. I was looking for plates for a wrought iron plate decore. Also I found four small bird plates for my living room wall hanger. My theme is Tuscan , English , And Normandy style. I liked your lovely Pottery, Very Pretty. You seem like a gentle soul; thus the style you are drawn too.
