Seamstress here. The lace square neck top is beautiful, but I think they have made an error with the pattern cutting. The front neckline is far too wide. I saw that Zory Mory tried it on in her latest video as well, and there was major gaping. I think this would be the case even if someone was larger chested. It's a shame, as it has such potential!
I saw it on Zory, totally agree about the gaping - she’s a size 0-2 though (32-34) and the smallest one available was a 2 (34). I think as long as you size down, it works well! My usual size was gaping too and looked huge on sleeves and body, the smaller one felt nice and in place though (unless I bend down, you can’t see anything ☺️)

@janelleespinosa6247 true, but needing to size down is still an error in pattern sizing. I think even in the size down the neckline looks a little big. Perhaps just my personal preference though. I don't like to be fussing with my necklines:)

The Alvere sold out within seconds! So I got the Gaya and I am so in love with it! I think V neck suits me better anyway. The square neckline of the Alvere looks more romantic and sweet though.
That's true! I didn't even get a chance to see Alvere "in another basket" for long, it was unavailable right away 🤣 I ended up keeping Gaya, I really love it! So glad you love yours too, te blouse is perfectttt

Such a good basic, feels really comfortable too! Hope you love yours, I was tempted to get the khaki but controlled myself this time 😂 You’re right about the jumpsuit, if you think your bust/hips allow you to go with XS, I’d try that. I want to see what it looks like in real life, but if it’s too clingy/tight, I’ll have to return it. It’s a shame because the color and quality are fantastic, the fit too (except for the crotch designers for diapers 😭)
It is tempting going down one size for the jumpsuit but I think it will probably be too tight around the hips for me. But yes to the felicien tops, you have sold me on them. I think it’s time for Sézane to do a collaboration with you Mila.
So many beautiful pieces for you! 😍The Gaya blouse is so sweet and I really like the Marzia blouse on you as well, especially when worn open and with the matching trousers! I trust you if you say they didn't fit well but in this video they suit you wonderfully. The Felicien tank is so gorgeous, omg, I go nuts for a really good basic! They have a very similar style on Arket, but without the buttons and so far very limited colours. I have the beige one and it fits and feels great, the style is called rib tank top and it's about $ 20.
Oh that’s great to know! I’ll take a look at Arket, I never purchased anything from them! I go crazy for good basics too 😂 I love Marzia and Gaya, they’re really pretty. I need to pick one of them though, I think the trousers are not too bad but it’s just a really high price to justify not feeling 100%. I might try them on with a few other tops and see if it makes sense. I adore a matching set 💕💕💕
@@milainnewyork The Gaya blouse fits your proportions very well 🥰 but they're all lovely! I am a soft dramatic so ribbed tanks tend to ride up as I move but the Arket one stays perfectly put and it's really 👌only wish they will make them in more warm colors for spring/summer 🤞

I missed that crochet top too and planned to get one on restock, but after seeing the actual fit on you and on zorymory, I'm going to skip it. It seems made for a much fuller-busted woman who is also tall with broad shoulders. I still had a credit at Sezàne so I decided to try that cute tank top which was in my wish list too, and also ordered the iconique droit jeans in ecru, why not, I can always return, lol. I so appreciate your content my dear, and all the work that goes into it! 🩷🌷 Oh and I love that croc embossed Claude too, but alas, I don't need another crossbody flap bag! 😂
They do 😀 There was a line but the wait wasn't too bad because they gave out cookies and kept it moving quite swiftly. I showed up right at opening time on Sunday. They have the new collection but not everything was out. I was looking for the Saveria blouse and couldn't find it until I saw one behind the counter that was folded and waiting for someone--I spotted it and asked them to look downstairs for my size and they brought me one... So if you want something and don't see it out, make sure to ask. I also bought a beautiful belt, my fave perfume and some earrings. I'm now waiting for the Pierro Shirt in the mail. I saw someone working there wearing it in the store but by the time I got there I didn't see it out on the rack. @@milainnewyork

Oh that dark teal was so beautiful! It’s a seasonal color, I don’t believe there will be a restock. You can still find it from returns though (Wed and Sun around 9am Paris time) 🫶🏼

Love this try on, very helpful! The Alvere also does not work on a large chest, unfortunately. I think the Gaia looks so much better on most body types. Although I do love it on Mila, she has just the right proportions for the Alvere ❤
Thanks for the informative video! The Kyle cardigan looks gorgeous on you. What sizing do you recommend? I find with Sezane either XS or S fits me best. The sizing can be a little tricky, I feel like it depends on the particular piece. An XS in one can fit like a S in another. I saw on the website to size up if in between sizes for the Kyle. It looks small on the models, so I'm debating whether I should consider M. I'm 5'6 btw, slim figure. If you don't mind me asking, what size are you wearing in this video and would you have considered sizing up? Thank you so much! :)
Kyle is amazing, to me it feels true to size but I’m pretty much 99% of time Small for tops and knits. This one is size S! My bust is 35”, I’m 5’5”, wide shoulders. If you normally wear XS and S, I would not go with Medium. Which Sézane pieces do you have in XS for reference? Maybe I can help you better 🫶🏼

Mila, how does the tax situation work with Suzanne in NYC? I have been hesitant to order again from the site because last time I purchased I was hit with a huge tax bill weeks after purchase (and I order internationally frequently without this issue). Do you anticipate the tax bill with your purchases from overseas? Please explain/advise. thank you!
The prices are marked up in the US, so wether we buy online or in store it’s the same (we pay about 20-30% more than in Europe). Mederick coat for example costs €350 but here I paid $528. We have sales taxes so besides the price being marked up, it adds 8.9% on the top of it, but that for all brands, not just Sézane. Each state charges a different amount. If you’re talking about customs fees, then you have to be careful and not order more than $800. I make sure I split my purchases in 2 or 3 orders to make sure I don’t exceed the amount and have to pay extra! Hope this helps 💕
@@milainnewyork thank you for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it, but my question is not the price difference between EU and US, but rather a separate tax bill that comes from the carrier (i.e, FedEx, DHL) AFTER the charges are made with Sezane. I emailed Sezane about it, and they responded that they do not include VAT in their online US prices and that it's paid by the purchaser after the fact. This is why I ask you, if you receive this currier bill after your online (I am assuming from overseas) purchases. Thank you again.

I never got taxed, but I heard this happened to a lot of people. They either refused the package (went back to Sezane) or had to pay a large sum to retrieve it.
Hello! I am in a pickle the sweater i wanted to buy sold out in my size, small, do the angelie sweaters run large? Is it possible to buy an xs and hope it fits?
The Marino pants are not good. They pull at the crotch. That means the length of the fabric from the waist to the crotch is cut too short. Several other influencers have reported problems with the Alvere blouse. The really low cut on it gapes, particularly on smaller busted women. Sezane needs to rethink that design because most women will not be able to wear that low cut well. The Gaya blouse and the Marzia blouse look great on you. I think the Felicien tank top would look great under a blazer. If it gets warm, you can always remove the blazer. Great video to be able to see these clothes on you.
I think Marino looks like that because it’s really tight on me (there’s no stretch and it’s lined). They didn’t have size 38 in the store, unfortunately, otherwise I’d have tried on and shared. Alvere in fact isn’t for ladies with a small chest, in general it runs large everywhere, but with a small chest, even if you size down, it’s basically unwearable (Zory got the smallest size available, she needed one size down). I showed 3 tops here with a similar fabric but Sézane has others tops with a more modest neckline/similar romantic style with some variations (Annabelle, Eglantine, Gaya, Amelie Eponine, Emma). 🤗🤍 thank you for watching, Susan xx hope you have a great weekend

Hi Madeline! When a brand pays me for a video, you will see a “paid partnership“ label on it. My experience with Sézane is the best possible, never in years I had a problem with their customer service. It seems you did, so I hope you can sort this out with the brand - sadly as a content creator I cannot help you with that. When I share a Sézane review, I help hundreds of people avoid unnecessary returns as most of my subscribers don’t have a store nearby and can benefit from the info I share. Hope this clarifies your question.
