Beautiful, ladies!💝 The tan dress with the black and white embroidered accents on Josie was a keeper! And, I also loved the first dresses on both of you! (The periwinkle blue ones.)👰🏼🤵🏼
I loved the 1st one on Sophie, then definitely the last one on Josie! That navy gown with the long back and the big flowers was just stunning, esp with the black fascinator!
These dresses are lovely, I love the tasteful maternity wear, very flattering. Another idea would be your white Aspenal bag (hope I spelt it right) with the first blue dress (Josie's), and the heart handbag with the red dress. Red looks good on you Josie, very glam
I love that you included maternity! On the red dress, I don't know if it's an American perception, but I've been under the impression a red dress can be rude to a wedding as it can distract from the brides white dress. Same can be said on a solid black dress unless its formal.
Oh good grief‼️ I wore bright red to my beloved daughter’s wedding asVogue said MOBs should wear their favourite colours. As my daughter married a lovely Italian man, I hope his family don’t think this. 🤣🤣🤣
Perhaps it’s a cultural thing. In Sweden you’re not supposed to wear red as it indicates you’ve laid with the groom, but most think it’s a kind of ridiculous “rule” so many people wear red anyway.
Perhaps because red is so bold it could be distracting but I hadn’t heard that and in American. Although I just argued with my 23 year old son about the black “rule”. It’s all he wears and it’s his cousins wedding in two weeks. He was not happy he couldn’t wear all black. While I do think these rules are probably outdated and I know our family couldn’t care less, I want him to dress nicer than he’s used to lol
Beautiful vlog ladies! One suggestion for the low cut maternity dress would be a wide strap lace trim cami that is higher cut and will cover the bra straps in the back, in blending color. Also, I live in the midwest and have been to fancy big city weddings (think Chicago) and smaller country ones - at all I have seen red and black worn by women. And nothing seemed to outshine the bride nor showed disrespect. Dresses are expensive, I would think any bride would want you to wear what you are comfortable in and perhaps what you already own. I think "rules of dress" have lightened up over the years.
i just stated subscribing to your channel and saw this video. I fell in love with the second dress Josie is wearing. I know it's almost two years in, but would love to know if its possible for me to find that dress
Love this vlog ladies, the outfits are lovely. Sophie your blooming. Loving Josie in the red dress but not the hair band. It spoils the look but you both look beautiful 🤗😘💕xx
Sophie looks lovely in navy, very flattering. Josie, no 2 the red fishtail dress, stunning but I would alter the sleeves so they are straight. No 3 the pink & black, so you and very beautiful, and no 4, the navy floral, simply stunning! Think it's a lot harder when you're pregnant to find really nice dresses. But both of you always look beautiful and really girly.x 😄
Josie, you are really rocking the sexy but demure look, for sure! Dresses 1 & 2 are stunning and thanks to Sophie's sharp eye for bringing you out of your comfort zone, the red lace look is simply magnifique! And Sophie, dresses 1 & 4 suit you beautifully! The lace overlay on #1 is extremely flattering on your bump :) and I like how the dress is tapered (not wide and frumpy :)) and the length is perfect. Outfit #4 is my absolute favorite, though. The billowy sleeves and waist tie add an element of style that looks so flattering on you. Thank you for exemplifying how one can still look so beautiful and glamorous with a baby bump! XO
I need outdoor winter in the redwoods wedding ideas. Live in Northern CA in the US and we have a family wedding in two weeks! For the first year of many it’s been so rainy and COLD! We even got snow in our mountains and even the hills. I’m so far going to wear an A line wool thicker skirt so I can layer under for warmth and some taller boots with very warm wool socks. But I’m stuck on the top part. I’ll prob end up with a thin turtleneck sweater that I can layer under and over with one of my thicker wool coats. Under the canopy of the redwood Forrest in the afternoon it can and will be quite cold. And if it’s been raining at all before in the week, it will be a wet cold which amps the cold factor. I’m well versed in what to wear if I was hiking in the woods. I have gear for that up the wazoo... but wedding attire? Not so much. lol
Be My Bride I think that’s the plan. I just ordered a beautiful blouse from Anthropologie. I actually ordered it in two sizes so I won’t be out of luck if the one size I chose didn’t work. I’ll get it three days before the wedding so wanted to be sure I got one that fits. Easy enough to return in store for me for the one that’s not the right size!
They were all stunning! You Ladies were gorgeous 😍😍 , but if I had to really choose #3 for you Josie.. It was made for You! #2 for your friend if she could get it tailored to fit her beautiful baby bump ❤️
That red dress looks absolutely gorgeous on you Josie. Good choice Sophe! and Sophie looks stunning in all her dresses. Pity about the design fault on number 2 :-(. Thanks to you both for another lovely vlog xxx
I love everything, but I do think the black fascinator is not the best choice with the navy print dress (Josies final outfit). Also, is it appropriate to wear off-the-shoulder styles at a church wedding? I know conventios have relaxed quite a bit in that regard, but bare shoulders strike me as a bit odd for a church setting. ('Course, I'm a hijabi, so perhaps my perspective is skewed? But much of my family is Catholic. IDK.)
It would depend on the type of wedding it is, a lot of brides wear strapless wedding dresses! If you were concerned showing your shoulders you could always put a jacket or pashmina over your shoulders. xoxo
Maternitydresses is very difficult because also not every woman has the same bump at 6months as the other so if you have to buy in advance it is very tricky if it will fit you. You will never know how big you will be
Dear Josie, I know you do not like your teeth and work on their position. But I have to say: no one is perfect and you are already very beautiful. And just this little "flaw" is charming and special. You will be a magical bride!
