I LOVE the hearts of women who deliberately tone down their allure at a wedding while wearing colors that like the flowers enhance the happy romantic celebratory lovely feeling of the day for the bride!

I would diiiiieeeeee if someone showed up to my wedding in that much white/cream/off white . There's a colour wheel of other colours to choose from...

Sorry to post a negative comment because I truly believe that you both look absolutely lovely and I also believe this is extremely helpful, so thank you!!! Additionally I'm so excited about your new channel and thus far I'm really impressed with the content, style and overall advice offered in each video, however I feel compelled to point out that, in my opinion, the color "white" in any variation (ie. cream, off white, etc) and sadly I think even blush or nude tones should never be worn, as they are all unacceptable color choices being that they are far to similar to what the bride is wearing, so a definite no, no, a fashion faux pas, as it will inevitably clash with the bride and potentially take the focus away from her 😞That's just my two cents on the matter and I fully realize that I may stand alone in my opinion, but I thought it was worth mentioning considering it's a "rule of thumb" I was brought up to abide by and I believe should still be followed?! This isn't meant to be mean spirited in anyway just, I simply wanted to share a different perspective 👌As previously stated I am excited to see more content and commend you both on what you've published so far.....also CONGRATULATIONS to you both on your recent engagement, I'm looking forward to seeing your separate, but equally exciting journeys to the alter💑💍♥️💒💐👰🤵🎉🍰🕊

Hello again Josie!, and hi Sophie! 🤗 I'm so glad you guys are doing this channel because I've always been clueless about how to dress as a guest at a wedding. (All the weddings I've gone to didn't have what I would consider to be...fashionable examples to learn from, if I can put it that way.) My favorite outfit was Sophie's black top and print skirt. I loved it from head to toe it was so eye catching--bold, without being the slightest bit edgy. You know what I'm saying? I also loved the dress coat and the white skirt with champagne gold embroidery. I think I would wear the dress coat because, when I am unsure about how to dress, I tend to err on the side of caution by dressing with a very posh, conservative, and business lady style in mind. I can't wait to see more videos. Would it be possible to make the videos a little bit longer, so that you can include more information about your thought process as you were putting together each piece of your ensembles? And also could you have longer screen shots of the entire outfit from head to toe so that we can see the shoes and the bag all together? Oh! And also model and spin around and stuff like you usually do. I really enjoy that. 😊 Nicole

Love the video and the ideas - the fascinators are so fun. However, I must agree that it's in bad taste to wear white, cream, or very light blush as a wedding guest. It looks like you're trying to take attention from the bride. Other than that, great work!

I think people are wayyyyyyyy too conservative to think anyone can upstage any bride by wearing nudes, blush colors or even an off white or cream colored attire. Under 100: Josie; I wore a yellow suit as a wedding guest. Under 250: No one won. Both are poor. Under 500: Sophie's fascinator is GREAT! I would have preferred her dress be all. black. Josie won, although I'm not entirely happy with her outfit as it seems 'too heavy'. I enjoyed the concept of this video. Thank you.

Absolutely never wear light pink , nude or white to a wedding, unless the bride specifically gave you permission. Avoid black as well: you`re not a widow. Where I come from, means you`re sad the marriage is happening or you want to take attention from the bride

My mother told me that its an ethical not to wear white color or vry light color on wedding day only the bride must wear in that day if you are not sponsor or bridesmaid its a respect to the bride.

I like both of your 500 pound priced items and Sophie's 250 pound item. I do wish that the camera was place further away so you could see the full outfits and not just a quick pan shot of them. I do like this video though. I was wondering is it mandatory, or tradition, in England to wear a headpiece to a wedding? As in the states it's very rare to see anyone but the bride with any sort of headpiece on, and even then it's not as extravagant as the ones you guys have it's usually just a really decorative clip or small tierra. Not that it looks bad or anything, it's just different from what I've seen. I used to work at a banquet hall where people would have wedding receptions, so I've "been" to hundreds of weddings lol.

I don't think that blush, pink, or nude, are off limits. The bride will most likely be in a white gown that is so ornate and intricate. There will be no mistaking who the bride is.
