The Boks actually did enough in the 2nd half to win, it was falling behind by 10 points in the first half that they couldn't recover from, all S Africans should know this from playing against good sides like NZ and I think it was partly from loosing Willie so early. Whether the points come from tries, penalty kicks or dropgoals is irrelevant although the Boks did have a few try scoring opportunities, remember the old Wilkinson days when SA scores 4 tries but loose because of Johnny's boot. Had the Boks have got a try they probably would've won, if Ireland didn't slot 2 dropgoals Ire probably would've lost, if Pollard missed a couple kicks or was more accurate with kicking out or if Sacha didn't take the ball out it all could've made a big difference in the end so it's all very close margins.

Sasha ran well, but had 2 extremely poor kicks in the last 10. You do not kick a speculative banana kick with an entire f-ing series on the line! He's young, and he'll learn from this experience, but he mustn't expect cotton wool from now on. Playing for the Boks means your decisions get scrutinised big time.
dont be an idiot, please....one kick doesn't decide a match, they were out played and the boks should have never been in that position in the first place. Its actually an infinite regress here, what happens, if he didnt handle that ball before it went to touch, what happened if kwagga passed and so on and so on. If you play kak, then you put players in a pressure position where they feel like they need banana kicks to escape shitty situations
I’m a huge Sacha fan, but he made two bad decisions, and I hope he learns from them - that’s all I’m t trying to say - not trying to blame him solely on the loss, but I’m commenting on his performance cos he’s in this video. And in case you didn’t realise, players must still make good decisions regardless of decisions made by others before or after! Ox had an outstanding game hence nothing but praise for him.

boks were garbage. shameful performance by veterans....12 points from dumb stupid penalties gifted to Ireland. Pollard ball in hand kicking and gameplay was garbage. Faf was garbage. Ireland adjusted to our 'new and improved attack' but we DID NOT ADJUST. Rassie was out coached by a country mile! Where was the intensity? Ireland dominated everywhere...and our stars were absent. Very poor. How many points left on the board in big moments by stupid dumb mistakes, ball handling....our maul was shameful. Rassie you sucked today man.
I agree and I also realise our season just started but faf and Pollard have lost their edge, making bad decisions. But Ask yourself why was there so much blood, what was happening that you didn't see.
The Boks were brainless and without a plan. Rassie will disagree but sorry, what we saw was terrible. It is not wrong to loose against Ireland, but the Boks did not turn up. Faf is too slow cleaning up at scrums, and the backline was without attacking and defending plans. The forwards did not play robust rugby. Sacha played the way Wille is supposed to do and can only become better. OX, is he really the best? Many more things to say, but NZ and Australia will demolish the Boks with this rugby.
