Nice video on a forgotten about line of guns. I have the mod 2 version of this. I like the thinness, but it seems heavy for the size of the gun. That helps with recoil but hurts with carry for me. Mod 2 doesn’t have replaceable back straps which is kind of a bummer though.
When it first came out, Springfield had a self recall on that pistol. It was for a safety issue that mine didn't experience. I sent mine back and it returned with an extra extended mag and a new pin installed. You can see it near the grip safety. Its still my favorite nail driver.
Nice gun, my first gun I ever bought legally 😎 was an XD tactical with 5" barrel. This is the first time I've seen the S Series. I'm loving it. I would also need the extended mag with my big hands.
