This isn’t true. It’s only on rifles, not only on long barrels. Springfield Compact is a sawed off barrel and still causes intense bleed to the same range as the normal Springfield.

I don't think it's a bug, more like stick drift altering the input method? It used to happen to me in singleplayer games back when I had an old Razer Sabertooth. For a split second the prompt to interact with the controller would appear and disappear.

i doubt he playin on controller, he prob jus has one plugged in for other things

It's because the changes to the map have made it way harder to see now. It feels like every 3 out of 4 games are either night fog or rain which makes seeing a hunter in a bush extremely difficult so players are abusing it super hard. You even see an example of it in 16:45 where a player is using the huntsman and hiding in some leaves to get an easy kill, if the map was in daytime spotting him would have been way easier.

I've had the opposite experience. People seem to rotate and push up a lot more with the rain

@@Trenz0 its impossible for me to hear or see anything these days so i just rotate at very aggressive speeds until someone doing the same thing as far as i can tell just bumps into me with the new instakill dumdum ammo, that or i just dont even manage to load into games anymore (east US servers from canada)

Thats pretty normal for hunt during events. There is more returning players and new players that are afraid and dont know how to push so they just sit and react to the enemy plays. Another reason is instinct, people just immediately take cover and sit.

@@Trenz0 Agreed. I think it's because rifle players are no longer able to use their long distance spotting to get kills. The CQB based players are finding way more gunfights because everything is compound based around rain maps.

Price won't change it you'll still see it used (if it ever does get used) seen it maybe like once this entire week

Are you in 4 stars? Maybe low 5? Because in 6 star MMR no one's using bleed ammo. Still the same long ammo sniper bs or CrownNKing compound pushing.

I have literally never ran into this anywhere from 3 to 5 star lobbies

@UrbanDefenseSystems nothing is more annoying then a Mosin with Spitzer 400m out just tapping away, got rushed by a crown and king the other day and had my body camped for literally 32 minutes

You can see he does hunter. Probabaly because he always has and is used to it, or for wider fov vs shoulder aim

@@bigshaqtheneonblack6418 He confirmed in a video it's how he started and never switched because he's used to it, and also gunslinger can give your position away.

He is playing in hunter, and most other hunt streamers do, the reasoning is that when you stand close to a wall if you are in gunslinger, or if you have the gun shouldered the barrel will clip through walls and can be used to get easy wallbangs on you, I have done this to other players myself so I can confirm it's true, and the other reason is the easier access to melee, as sometimes in a tense firefight not having to reach for the melee button when a grunt rushes you on low health can be the difference between surviving or getting killed, hope that helps

Bloodless makes all initial bleed procs only cause light bleed, and prevents the bleed from upgrading to medium or heavy passively. If you take multiple additional hits from rending damage, like a pack of hounds or walking through a large cluster of concertina wire, the bleed level WILL upgrade, but it will take more hits to reach that bleed upgrade threshold compared to not having the trait. From memory I believe it takes 3-4 hits from a Hellhound to upgrade the light bleed to a medium bleed if you have Bloodless. Fun related fact: Scrapbeak's wire has a threshold reduction effect baked into it. The first tick of Scrapbeak wire will only ever cause light bleed even if you don't have Bloodless, and having Bloodless just allows you to hit way more wire strands before the bleed upgrades. TLDR: Bloodless always makes the first bleed light, prevents bleed from getting stronger passively over time, but does not prevent additional sources of rending damage from upgrading the bleed level and instead merely raises the upgrade threshold. Burning & Salveskin work along the same rules, and you can test this easily in the firing range with frags/concertina/bear traps/firebombs/hellfires if you want to learn the exact thresholds for it.

Its a question of if you want more ammo or damage. Personally i prefer the pax cuz of more reliable two tap.

@@BlackWolf9988 It's* Also the caldwell shoots faster and has a tighter spread but has less pen without fmj. While pax can fmj without the special ammo so it would have more regular ammo. If you really want to get into detail you can compare them in Hunt for a more in depth analysis using the new stats they added.

Some traits (necromancer, magpie etc.) have added benefits when playing solo as compared to playing in duos pr trios to help give you an edge against teams. Necromancer normally let's you spend 25hp to revive your teammate from a distance but when you're playing solo you can revive yourself after 10 seconds. Usually have to listen for traps being put on your body or being burned though !

Only if you play solo with necromancer trait u can revive

honestly youre right and its very annoying, i think with the ammo change they didnt just encourage special ammo, they made the only reason not to run it be because you're poor, ive always thought the poison effect is OP, as a solo main fire is the bane of me and bleed is buffed to the sky. HV, FMJ and explosive are balanced IMO because at least with HV and FMJ you are encouraged to try shoot from longer ranges and explosive will never not be a meme with incendiary instantly igniting you theres is absolutely no reason to get it. the only guns that you dont see with special 100% of the time are long ammo because since everyone is running salve and antidotes they have no reason to use their fire or poison rounds so they just default to the wallbang glory they preferred anyway

Not being able to wallbang is a pretty big down side.

@@BlackWolf9988 eh shooting by sound only works half the time anyway (with the rain at least) and the advantages you get otherwise are 10X more valuable in most situations

@@shakenbacon1592 again anything which removes the ability to wallbang isnt meta. In 5 - 6 star lobbies pretty much everyone wallbangs all the time. Im not saying these custom ammos are bad its just still better to wallbang.

Life of a solo. If a trio decids to rush whether bleeding or not its usually not going to workout for the solo.

Getting tagged with everything as a solo is a problem man, crossbow has same problem
