Great sights just put them on my sa 35 but tight very tight and getting the original ones off are even tighter, don't understand why lock-tite is needed besides the set screw , wish my sight pusher would work but it doesn't fit the front of the slide
I found on a Springfield forum the factory sights were installed with red Loctite "use your Google Foo to find the site". You can use a sight press to break the bond as seen on this video " ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YlcwrDo1a_M.html". You can also use a heat gun to soften the Loctite before pressing them out with a punch. As a side note I have installed XS sights on several Glocks' and Caniks'. Once installed they are great sights. I strongly recommend using the install method method in this video. I'm only talking about the removal of the Factory sights with the use of a sight tool.
