This performance deserves a lot more "likes" than it shows, a great deal more.

I've seen Bruce Springsteen in concert 16 times and this version really hits home.

Neil Young and Johnny cash had a baby and his name was Sean Rowe. The greatest music I've heard in a long, long, long time. His lyrics cut you to the core and hits every emotion that lies within every human being. The little man song had me balling my eyes out as I'm very sick and miss my two little boys dearly. I too came across you by watching the accountant and though the movie was decent your music and voice had me at hello. I'm utterly speechless and in awe of your God given amazing talent. I'm battling tropheryma whipplei and your songs are helping me to hold on. I hope God can heal me so I can be a great father to my boys again just like you are. Amazing man and a beautiful soul. Keep'em coming sir Rowe and continue to change this world with your music like you already have.

I grew up near the Mohawk river. This song always resonated with me because grew up with guys whose lives followed the path depicted in the song. By the seventies, the industries in the Tri-City area were bugging out, GE in Schenectady, the mills in Troy, and countless factories in other local cities. It was too depressing, so I bought a one way ticket out in 80. My family is buried back there, I lived my own "Independence Day", and eventually found my promised land. B2R, Darkness, The River, and Nebraska are just timeless albums that are such touchstone for me. Nice work on this one Sean.

Had the opportunity to see Sean at a house concert last week. Truly a very underrated talent!

I know Sean has to call this "a cover" - does the definition of "version" mean something different, another dimension to "cover" because it made me cry- I haven't listened to my "tons" of Springsteen albums in a long time. Sean's raw voice "hanging on for dear life" and the pianist - no jiving show off playing solos between them- almost a reverence as in church- I felt like I got baptized and awakened from a long sleep, I did! I never experienced what those working class kids did, but I had friends who did....if you could live your life over maybe you'd make DIFFERENT poor choices...Something I read...Sean and piano player- sorry I SHOULD know your name, thank you. Not much can make me cry anymore...I hope Bruce has heard this.
