Oslo in spring is a colourful place of blues and greens, with some pink cherry blossoms in between. For a while the city centre will be warm enough for utepils* while the hills surrounding Oslo will still be covered in snow and busy ski trails. The whole city undergoes a thourough spring cleaning to get rid of all the dust and gravel from roads and sidewalks, while several hundred thousands of flowers are planted in large pots and flowerbeds. Osloites will begin looking forward to summer at this point and the city comes alive after a winter's sleep. Come and see for yourself!
*Utepils directly translates to "outdoor beer" and the first utepils of the year is a special moment to many Norwegians.
