Shirley sticking her head through the window into the house cracked me up. Thanks so much for sharing some of your life with us. Love your sweet Christian family.
I love your new cow Shirley she seems to be quite taken with all of you. I grew up on a farm when I was a child . Life changed a lot after that. Now I am in OK and our house is surrounded my the lords beautiful hand and I have the neighbors cows to spoil with a few treats every now and then and now they call me out in the morning for scratchies❤ I Just adore animals. Your dog reminds me so much of our rescue dog , Sasha she was malamute/Akita mix and she was are ❤️. Now we have Alaska malamute rescued from an Amish breeder. We love our puppers dearly😊 Thank for your lovely videos. I want to do a sourdough starter
Thank you for your beautiful comment! So glad you’re here! Sounds like you’re in a wonderful place where you can still enjoy the presence of cows. They have such a peaceful presence ❤️ You can find sourdough starters on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist! You can make it to, but I’ve never tried! Much love from Idaho ❤️
Nothing better than living in God's beautiful creation. Jersey cows are prone to milk fever when giving birth. Looks like you have one that will be the biggest pet on the farm. God bless you richly.
This is sooo encouraging. I love how it is a working ranch. Everyday life. It melts my heart to see a husband and wife being so encouraging to one another. Sweet sweet family life making a ranch
Also really enjoy hearing the rooster and the music of your intro, and to see how pretty the sweet wife and girls dress, and also impressed with your hard-working cowboy son.
What beautiful country scenery and home you have! But the best scenes of all are to see your Christian family praying together and reading God's word together 🙏 . and so heartwarming how your family all lovingly works together 💕 and also glad for the healthy and delicious milk (and butter, cheese, yogurt etc ) you can now have from your new milking cow. Looks like she's happy to be a part of your family and is enjoying putting her head inside the window to be pet 💕 😊
I would love to see your step by step on how you make your bread. I know nothing regarding making this type of bread. I also love a softer crust. Thanks and thumbs up 👍
It's seriously the easiest thing! Just need a good sourdough starter! I put the recipe n our description, but I will also be posting a step by step sourdough short soon!
😂 well thanks for your optimism. We are just making simple farm videos and only care about pleasing God in this world so dont worry about us changing, plus we are old. 😂Im in my mid 40’s (the husband.)Thanks for your support Dustin! 🙌👍💪
Thank yo for the kind words!! It's seriously the most delicious and easy way to bake it!! If you have any questions, let us know and we'll try to answer them!
@@TheRancherAndTheWife watching from Belgium, now 62, family with 7 children, father had a job and a farm, we where helping with winterfood for the animals, straw, hay, Beets maïs with no machines, cultivating Potatoes and vegetables, Lovely memories, also brought up in Faith ❤️🙏
@@lutgardedh it has been amazing reading the comments from people like you watching from all over the world. Thank you for sharing! It is interesting how similar a farm lifestyle is no matter what part of the world we are all in. All the best to you!
At 7:20, you put your baby down to do a quick task. Thank you for showing that!!!! I do that and my baby always reacts the same way. But…it makes me upset whenever it happens. Do you have any advice for how to avoid getting upset when your baby cries?
Hi! Every baby is different, but Almost every time I put him down, he cries. If I can, I’ll pick him up again and then he stops 😏, but if I can’t pick him up again, I’ll just let him cry it out and usually he just stops on his own. They eventually learn that mama needs to use both her hands sometimes 😄 I sometimes try to give him kitchen utensils or bowls that he thinks are toys and that will sometimes make him happy 🥰 Also, his older siblings will help a lot and play with him. Another help is a high chair next to you and give them food or toys in it. Stay strong mama, try not to let it stress you out. Just focus on the fact that he or she loves you so much and just wants your love and touch. Treasure these moments. And sometimes maybe the messy kitchen will just have to wait so you can cuddle your baby who wants you and so you can just take a breather 🥰❤️
@@TheRancherAndTheWife thank you so much for taking the time to share that with me! I admire your nurturing demeanor so much, and really value your commentary on that. ☺️
@@kayleeh3770 of course!! I know how hard it can be sometimes! Our little blessings sure want lots of attention sometimes 🥰🥰😂 Many blessings to you! ❤️
You are not supposed to wash your sourdough stuff down your sink drain it will turn into almost like a concrete in your pipes. I was told this by the lady who I got my starter from. I always wipe mine with a baby wipe if I use a small spoon or take them outside to wash. Hope this helps for your future and maybe you can help others learn it to!
In Australia which is were im from we bore holes through the middle of hardwood post then tie the wire onto wooden strainer post. It fun to see different ways of fencing
@@heidiyoung9929 thank you! That would be good setup also! :) We have some other followers from Oz also, great country! I worked at a sheep ranch in New South Wales in 2002 :) Thanks for following along
I actually didn’t make mine, I got it from a friend! Most people I know got theirs from a friend too! I’ve seen people selling starters on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist! I’m sure you can start your own, but I just don’t know anything about it, so sorry! Wish I could give you some of mine!
@@TheRancherAndTheWife bless your heart. Thank you for being so kind . I will eventually get a starter made because now my granddaughter wants to make sourdough bread and I have got to learn how. Have a blessed day
