Lots of top quality fish at Springvale Fisheries - I'd been making short videos for friends and family for a while and had started to take an interest in making better quality videos. A friend encouraged me to continue and share my efforts to a wider audience.
It wasn't long after I made this video that I returned to Springvale Fisheries with the view to making a RU-vid video. There's a link to my very first channel video below.

Good to see that wee video again Phil, I remember it from your pre RU-vid channel days. For me it just shows your broad fishing interests and enjoyment in the sport, which is what I love about fishing. There’s something for everyone, except we enjoy all of them.

Thanks, with fishing I am a bit of a 'jack of all trades and master of none' but I think I've always been good at the enjoyment element. Thanks for the encouragement to share my videos on RU-vid.

Springvale Fisheries near Bevercoats, they have lots of matches there - not of the big name stuff but regular club matches. You never know maybe you'll fish a match there sometime. Not long after that video was filmed I bought a secondhand Preston Pro 310 thirteen metre pole. 😄

My closest coarse fishery up here in Scotland is nearly two and a half hours drive - that's why the pole didn't see the light of day last year..... 😳
