spooky!!!! i just did the tank on the drz with the rustoleum peel black stuff!!!!- it was in the bargain bin at my local halfrauds so i thought i'd give it a go!!! very nice results....

I left that bolt out on my chainguard, what a bitch to get to! If you use a disc cutter to hack off the rear subframe the access is much better.......just a suggestion 😬👍🏻 😎

did you ever find that rubber ? I like your approach. Seems methodical. Did you think of getting onto the light scratches with 3000 wet and dry. That stuff is so finely grained that I'll take the surface scratches off if you're very careful with the rubbing. Its just one step more than a cutting compound, but not going to wreck the panels. some shops only sell 2000, which is okay but 3000 is that much finer. I managed to install my hugger and yes that bolt took a bit of work. In my last post, I went to town on many mods that raise the bikes usefulness just in case you're interested at some point later on. keep goin' its gonna look great. I know the feeling when you're on a project like that and you'll look back and wonder how you stayed at it for so long.. but its worth it.
