Ride outs, reviews, project builds, road rage, walk arounds. Motovlogging on my 2003 Triumph Sprint ST 955i in and around Northampton. Occasional trips around the UK, general hooliganism and other craziness involving bikes and bikers!
Great review and clear speech and without silly music,it's summer 2024,I've had my first ever tiger the 2001 955i for 5 months great bike but a couple of niggles,so next upgrade is either to a 1050 or 1050 sport, love the look of the sport with single sided swing arm.
Thank fuck for that, someone speaking proper fuckin English (with a Scottish accent) instead of some shitty twatty shite ya can't understand. Ta Lar, for the advice, good video.
Hi loved your video just gone the sane. My stator cover is really hot . But it's making wering noise too. Is that ok . It's an upgraded Electrex stator and rectifier. Sitting at 12. 7 v and running about 14.3 v on Idle. Thanks Dave
Of all the bikes I should have bought this one seems to have slipped through my fingers…so far…watching videos like this makes me want one even more..that triple sound and burble ..OMG..
Very helpful Thank.k you my stator was absolutely cooked. Just waiting on another now.But I need to change the Alternator now. As I was not charging the battery.
I have a 2017 LT in white and black, the best bike I have ever rode and owned. What a machine. One day hopefully Triumph will think about bring them back out again especially since we have left our friend the EU, apparently the TB didn't meet their standards !!
Hey man, that's right on 👍 Thank you for making this video, though I did not watch in it's entirety, it has given me the information I required to do the same job. (Regulator position, & have xtra gas cans)👍 🤘
A medic once told me if there is one single golden rule to avoid accidents it is to stay away from group rides. He may be right, he may be wrong but I never forgot him telling me that.
You'll find if you keep turning the fuel cap it should eventually click to stop it coming undone, but don't over do the clicks in closing it or you won't get it undone, lol, I normally just use two clicks and its never come off without me undoing the fuel cap.
Thank you for the most accurate review of this bike. I noticed a lot of the reviews for this bike are fairly old. I recently completed my basic motorcycle class, and this will be my first riding season ever. As an American, Harley was my first choice, but I was on a budget and decided to go an Indian dealer that also stocks Triumph. I gave the salesman an idea of what I wanted, and he walked me to the back of the showroom where my 2016 Triumph Thunderbird LT had set for a year and a half. The minute I sat on it, I fell in love, the first five minutes on the highway it had to be mine. It's sad this bike never received the admiration it deserved. I have received a lot of compliments from Harley and other riders in general of just how unique my bike is. As a novice rider, I never felt I lost control of this bike at low speeds, and the center of gravity is balanced. Triumph did an amazing job with this bike and I hope one day it makes a Triumphet return to the American market.
I recommend next time to simply have a clear image of their registrate plate + their face (with their phones out) and to move on. This way you can safely get home and do the reporting online. If there needs to be a conversation, I'd also advise to stay on your bike and to get beside the vehicle you're talking to. Unlike your strategy here which was to put the canter stand in the middle of a road (which later lead to obstruction of the highway when it comes to the law). At the end of the day, I do applaud you for standing up against these twats and their phones, but please keep yourself safe and out of the law's way at the same time 🙏
I added the Remus Stainless Exhaust to mine. 102.5 horsepower and 120 lb-ft of torque. One can remove the exhaust cap which yields an authoritative but not obnoxious sound. I understand the guys buying Harley because of their network support here in the USA. I'm lucky to have one of the largest Triumph dealers 10 miles from me. Here are the dyno results in Newton meters of torque as well as horsepower and ft-lb measurements we use here in the states. It'll easily get to 130 mph and torque is abundant throughout the rpm range. Ride safe! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SeegFgGy9yI.html
That's my job for the weekend (if the kids leave me alone 😆). Then maybe I'll make it to Stormin' the Castle! 🤔Bit of an Edinburgh accent, remaining...?
Ah. Be respectful. A bike is a bike. It's better than a first class walk any day. I owned a Honda Mbx50SD, a CG125 an XL185, a GPZ500s a Yzf600r thundercat and now a VFR800. We all start from humble beginnings. And to be honest I've ridden a YBR 125 myself. They are a great laugh to ride on. Good with fuel. Reliable. And yes they aren't fast. But don't diss it. Its a reliable little bike. Get back on one and if your a bigger bike rider, you'll see what I mean. Perfect for the first timers and nearly impossible to blow up. Unlike the sportier 125s out there.
Just bought a 13 plate I'm only 5 foot six and it's an arse off saddle job when I stop . But I'll put up with that because it's a great bike it's slowed me down a bit 😁👍
They have nothing there, no rubber cushion, I have two Honda cg125's both have a little play there. Make shore your suspension is fitted correctly that can mess up the wheel alignment.
you're right about the chrome glare off the windscreen... it can get brutal on a really sunny day... i replaced all my warning lamps with LED's so i could actually see them in bright sunlight.... overall, a very nice bike...
Thy can't there be a law that anybody can report any traffic violation using videos like this? Can be submitted online (and anonymous?). As long as the video is clear and informative i.e. license plate, face, situation, etc I think it is enough.
I hate phone user's too, but if you insist on riding around, telling people to get off there phones, then expect trouble. Your not a police officer, hand the footage in to the police and let them do there job. I think you deserved to be told,,, fuck off !
Here's an acronym for all you wanna be riders. B.R.A.K.E which stands for Brilliant Reduction Against Kinetic Energy. Use it or lose it And for the sake of your life get some fucking training.
