In this video of our van conversion series we are building extra storage space at the back of our bed. Not a particular big project, but hopefully it gives you some inspiration for your own campervan conversion.
As we designed our van, we always planned on optimizing the amount of storage space. After we built our bed we realized there was just enough room left between the back of the bed and the back doors, that we could just fit a minicabinet in there. It spans the whole length of the van and is curved in the shape of the back doors. It’s hardly 16 centimeters at the widest part en 6 centimeters at the sides. It’s about 25 centimeters high. So it’s small but it holds a lot of clothes!
