Purchased the White Top Adventures cargo shelf and had challenges the minute it showed up on my doorstep. It’s light weight for sure, but there are definitely viable, and likely better alternatives.
This shelf was the first thing I added to my van last January and i felt kind of the same way about it - $200 seemed pretty rich, but at least it wasn’t $800. That said, it’s been fine even over some really rough roads. I left off the stick-on felt as I quickly ran out of patience with it.
Hey Scott - just wanted to say thanks for your videos. We're building a '21 Sprinter, maybe a few months behind you but have made similar choices. This is van #2 for us, we did a '14 ProMaster about 5 years ago. The PM comes with a shelf, and I always hated it because I'd bump by head getting in and out of the cab and so far I'm loving the headroom in the Sprinter. That being said, it's the perfect spot for window coverings. If you end up wanting to get rid of it, let me know :)
Hello Dan, good to hear of your project, best of luck. I am definitely a Sprinter fan, the headroom is great, but also love how it drives vs. competitors!
Best review I’ve seen for this, and I agree it should be lowered at least a couple of inches which I’m wondering if one could do by drilling additional holes in the support brackets?
We just received this shelf. The box was banged up and the shelf dented in multiple spots. So, your complaint about the packaging hasn’t been fixed yet! 😅
Hi, at the time this product was available through Amazon, but I just checked and it’s showing unavailable. You can go straight to whitetopadventures.com and find it as well as other options. Good luck!
