Thanks for posting this! What are the rear fog lights for/ what does having an additional red tail light glowing achieve?

It's very bright and must be used by law in Europe. It's always on the left of the vehicle as you always pass on the left. If it was a a motorcycle you would also pass on the left. If the light were on the right and pass on the left you could potentially rear end the car. These are to be used in Snow, Fog and Heavy Rain for visibility as you should be driving slower than the speed limit and anyone coming from behind should have as much of and indication of your location as possible. We're in the US and use the rear fog light often.

Very helpful. So just to confirm, I am in the US and only left side rear fog light operates when the switch is on? The vehicle is new and was concerned right side bulb was not working?

until the last 15 seconds I could not get where you were pointing when stating which was which . put your friggn finger on the light ; state clearly . thanks
