Do more videos like this. Do blocking next. Zero skill, 50, 70, 100. Then check str differences, 10, 50, 100. Then test the different weapon types and shields. Thx
Sprint did affect speed for years with its non-primary subskills and unofficial character builder used to show that as well. It was changed when they re-balanced the whole tree and got rid of the duo parent skills and some subskills
I recently dropped sprinting after reading the description because I too thought on brief glance it would affect movement speed rather than just stamina amount. The reason people think this is the word sprint implies running your maximum speed, so the skill is a misnomer I think. It should have been called "Aerobic" or something since it deals with how long you can do it over time rather than the speed of it (even though sprinting is technically anaerobic... the in-game "sprinting" is far from what anyone could actually do anyways... no one could "sprint" that long... maybe stride... but not sprint). Anyways, I dropped it when I read the tooltip and realized it does not affect speed. I don't feel like it is really going to save me if I get knocked off my mount to be able to run just a little bit longer because if I"m knocked off I"m likely toast anyways as a bulging mage tamer unless I get lucky and my pet can kill them before they kill me. When I thought it was speed that it affected, my though was that I would be able to possibly reposition quickly to help me stay alive long enough for my pet to do more damage. Slowly switching out the last of the points for balance, but leveling balance after the book seems to require having someone attempt to knock me off my mount repeatedly... so I'm not in a hurry. What a stupid way to ask players to level a skill. If I'm missing another way to level balance past the book, please let me know.
Man i dont want to discourage u but when i tried balance/knockdown it felt like nothing.... If anyone could do Professional testing on balance+subskills that would be gr8. But i guess its the most useless skill and it doesnt work at all 😂
@@WolfszeitYT Well damn... I think it was actually in a recent Wolf video where I heard you say that balance does not work for EQ, which is just silly. Knowing that, I was hoping that it might at least protect me from mounted lancers and such... but if it doesn't work for shit.. maybe I'll explore Dom or something.
They should have made this game like Ultima Online Outlands, the way did the skill systems and travel system. The only thing they could look at different is more localized banking.
790 peak players in last 24 hours ⚰ "Sub-ready MMO" 🤡 But let's discuss how to save skill points by completely removing those that are useless anyway since developers don't play their game :)))))) It's a lab maze and you're all just rats in it. Good thing the majority see through it. Oh I forgot, "Henrik said __________(insert delusional copium here)" so let's not doom y'all!
@@WolfszeitYT 1. Shut my mouth 2. Hire actual professional developers 3. Make a voting poll where anyone with game account can add things that need to be fixed and vote on them 4. Create a team to work exclusively on fixing the foundation of the game - texture tearing, stutters, hitboxes, collision, LAG, floating shit, AI no clipping, falling through ground, invisible walls, inventory management, house decoration placement, nodelines - just to name a few 5. Compensate all players who ever got fooled into buying this game with 1 month free time 6. Speed up patches and establish quality control team for the first time since launch 7. Organize monthly in-game events + temporary POIs with high loot patrols to incentivize players to explore 8. Start communicating with players through daily reports and give estimates of down-time/hot-fix 9. Stop lurking streamers and catering to their narrow gameplay view (perfect example of this behaviour is choosing Klean (?!?!) for a discussion stream, a FPS femboy who doesn't even play the game since they fixed the safe spots, jeeez wonder why) 10. Put embargo on new content before everything that is already in game and was already voted on is implemented and polished. 11. ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME SO I CAN FEEL ALL IT"S GAMEBREAKING BUGS ON MY OWN SKIN.
Still lots of great people playing. Had a 15v15 last night after several hours of constant small scale fights in and around Fab and the sewers. The doomers can keep dooming, but after a few content patches we'll see a resurgence.
@@Nova-Six there were consistently 1000-1400 players online for a month after the mastery system dropped. It was the two bad patches in a row that removed safe spotting in dungeons, removed AFK pet leveling, broke AI leashing in general, and then the massive nerf to living pets on the last patch that brought the pop down. Before Mastery, we often saw ~800 pop. One patch with a good system nearly doubled it. It'll come back up.
