SPRITECH 4500 PSI PCP AIR COMPRESSOR FOR AIR RIFLE

I have the same compressor made by Tuxing Pneumatics. I would get another filter, as the one that comes with the PCP compressor doesn't really separate the water, it's a dust filter. Water in the tank is very dangerous as it can start pitting weaken and implode on you. Get the Hatsan filter as it has media in it to absorb water. You can also rebuild these compressors after 2000 fills when it takes longer to pump. A rebuild kit is 35 dollars and it's super easy to do. The auto stop feature will eventually break as they all do when that happens replace it with a good pressure gauge and foster fitting. Anyway, Tuxaing has great repair videos. They all come out of the same factory in china. The Hatsan Spark and the air venturi Nomad ii compressor is a rebranded Tuxing compressor with an expensive price tag and different stickers, lol. Welcome to the addicting world of PCP airguns. I too started with break barrels 4 years ago. Ever since I ent PCP I'll never go back, my wallet may be empty and I sleep on the couch most nights because of the angry wife but it's all worth it. lol. You'll end up with an FX impact sooner or later, we all do as I did just this year Subscribed, and liked.

I too just ventured into the PCP realm. I have a hand pump. Full disclosure, I am 67 years old and recently suffered a heart attack which resulted in a stent. Now that the blood faucet has been turned back on, I have little problem pumping my Air Venturi Avenger to 3100 psi. I d take my time. This gives me a fun afternoon of backyard shooting. So if I can pump, anyone pretty much can pump. Having said all that, hand pumping keeps me shying away from experimenting with the regulator. That would not be very fun at all. So eventually I’ll buy an electric one.

Nice video what a coincidence I just bought this same Chinese compressor and also the Air Venturi Avenger rifle wood stock rifle but .22 caliber after reading the struggle some people went through when trying to fill air to these rifles with a hand pump 👍😊

Good video. I have one of the blue Chinese compressors that uses a water bucket for cooling. I use it to fill my 65 sq/ft SCBA tank. I usually fill from about 3,000 to 4,350 psi and it take about 20 minutes. With my avenger, I quickly realized I get about 6 fills if I limit fill pressure to 4000 psi, after that my SCBA tank is under 4000 psi. Now 6 fills is a fair amount of plinking as I have the .177 avenger so I get probably 60 shots per fill and of course the rifle runs fine even at a 3,000 psi fill as long as the reg isn’t jacked up too high. I usually run pellets at 1600 & slugs at 2200. Your .25 cal will probably want more than 2200 for shooting slugs (FYI). I think one of the 12 volt compressors would almost be a necessity if you had a big bore that used a high pressure fill (4000 psi or more) and you got a limited shots per fill. For example, AEA’s challenger in 30 cal or .357 or various 45 & 50 calibers on the market using 3600 or higher air. My .308 Texan isn’t too bad as it only uses 3000 psi max and I usually fill it to 28 or 2900. My 65 sq/ft tank gives me about 180 or so shots before I’m below fill pressure.

I purchased the compressor from Amazon in November 2022. I used it only once, but the second time I tried to fill my air gun, it would not work. I emailed several times the only email address in the manual, but they don't respond. Amazon said they will try to contact the seller, but they were not able to do so. Do you have any way to contact the seller or the manufacturer for tech support?

Funny after cooling fan needs to run till the thing is cooled off why they wouldn't put a temperature-controlled on off switch

Does that gun go to 4500 psi?

No going back to a springer after running a decent pcp, I love my Avenger, that thing really hits the mark, and for the $$, hard to do better. I ended up with a Yong Heng compressor, quick fill.

Be careful leaning your gun up like that. I recently bent my barrel because it slid off and fell. Luckily, it was only a little and it straightened up and caused no permanent damage that I am aware of yet. I still to test her at 50 yards and see if my accuracy is still decent.

I shoot 15 to 20 shots a day mine broke in less than 2 months..hope they hold up on the warranty

I like the compressor, but the hand pump is about 50 bucks on Ebay. They work and last if you keep lubricating and take care of it. It's a lot of work and you don't want to be pumping at 90 degrees outside that for sure.

hey buddy,I e been into pcp air rifle long before there were a zillion company's building them,I believe in buy once cry once,I've had a air venturi hand pump for 6-7 years,and haven't rebuilt it at all,just clean an mantain good,well I'm nearly 50 yrs old now ,in great shape,but I've got to where I don't shoot much at all,simple cause of hand pumping,well after seeing your review,I believe I'll get the same thing,along with a small, medium bottle in a backpack,I be hunting all day,not having to carry a pump,thanks buddy,hey where ya from,ya accent sounds close

Looking to move up from my Gamo Maxxim to PCP. Extensive research has led me to your exact combo you chose; Air Venturi Avenger (Regulated/Adjustable!) and the Spiritech compressor. Add a quality scope and you are up and running in PCP for around $1,000. Anxious to hear your experience with both gun and compressor.

The hand pump can be rigged into a contraption that makes it motorized. Also, using a hand pump might be a good exercise.

Mine worked 2 times filling to 4300psi and now when it reaches like 3500psi it can’t get any more pressure then will start to bleed off quickly down to 0psi it’s like it can’t hold the pressure past 3500 or something. Any suggestions to fix it?

Nice review! My Avenger in .25cal just arrived and this is my first PCP too, so of course I'm now looking for something easier to use than a hand pump. I did buy a $50 4500psi hand pump on ebay, but it will be very hard to use beyond 3000psi. That will work for the Avenger if I set the regulator down to 2000psi or so, but at the much higher factory setting, no way for me. Maybe I need a 300lb wife to do the pumping! The cheap compressor you have reviewed is what has caught my eye! I've found them branded with Spritech, Tuxing, Vevor, Topa, and there are probably others, but the price seems to vary from $250 to $350 for that same model. I do believe Topa Hydraulics is the actual Chinese manufacturer of all of them, plus they make other models, and the hand pumps sold on ebay: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fF1Tn0lQNsI.html So in looking over many reviews here and there, it seems like you can get lucky or end up with a lemon. So rather than worry about returning one to an ebay dealer, to my surprise these are sold under the Vevor brand close to the low price ($250) end by Walmart. If it don't work, it should be easy to return to any Wallyworld store! You've probably discovered the AEAC RU-vid channel for tips on tuning that Avenger. There are also mods to replace the plastic (or wood) stock with AR-15 style collapsible stocks and pistol grips, turning it into more of a black rifle look. Mod parts can be 3D printed (see Thingiverse for files) or one guy sells a DIY kit: bonaccigoods.com/products/modular-chassis-kit (presently sold out but the guy seems to produce batches now and then) One more thing, I've read you can change the temp readout from C to F by holding down a button, probably the on/off button, to bring up a menu!
