Hey Ben, Dave again...lol...do you not replace the carrier bearing with a 2rs in your part of the world? A little extra security against the sh#t and grit and water? All the very best, as always, from Blighty.
I am not quite sure if it's the same issue, but I do face a weird loud screeching noise from the rear or the swing arm if I take my bike initially after not using it for a day or two. Cannot reproduce it if I am using it regularly. Anyone got any idea why this is happening?
Hello Sir, Please my sprocket bearing test shows the bearing is fine but there's a clunking ( grounding ) sound from the rear hub only during takeoff on my Honda X-ADV.. There's no dealership here to assist me too . What should I do please? could the sprocket bearing be bad ? Drive Chain is ok, front and back sprockets are allok too

It would seem that a bearing press would be the proper way of installing a bearing into the sprocket. The 1st bearing had 3 marks on it obviously caused by beating on it with a hammer/ mallet. This new bearing could have the same issue. A bearing press uses pressure to seat the bearing. But what do I know I'm just a Yankee.
