Buffy: "Spike and I are getting married!"Xander: "How?! What?! How?!"Giles: "Three excellent questions..."One of the funniest episodes of the show, IMO.
Heeh ... You mean, outside of kidnapping and stalking her, creating a sex bot based on her and trying to make her fall appart from her friends before trying to rape her later ? That's without counting the numerous times he tried to kill her or her friends. Like, yeah, Spike's my favorite too, but before seasons 6-7 ? He was really a creep. And season 6 was a season where they entered a destructive relationship where both sides used the other and such. I love them together and I DO think Spike could get less hate from the Scoobies for exemple, but from Buffy ? She wasn't even that bad to him between the moment they "broke up" and the moment in the bathroom, and like ... Yeah, this scene basically cemented that soulless vampires can't exactly love well, or else he would never have tried.
@Hard Truths Did you read my comment ? No because, you literally went to all the things I didn't mention. So, he acted like a decent guy, good for him. Doesn't change the fact that he acted like a stalking creep. I never said that he wasn't in love with Buffy and I don't think I even mentionned the soul, so why are you ? It's not like Buffy asked him to do so, he went to seek it out of his own because he realized that she won't love him like he is and that he almost hurt her in a way that would have traumatized her. All I'm saying is, the scoobies have no rights to act like they do with Spike, but Buffy ? She does. And once he does try to be a better person, she helps him out and is nice with him ! That's what the original answer was for, not whether or not Spuffy should be together or Spike should or shouldn't have gotten a soul. He bored you after he did ? Well, sad for you, especially considering that he concretely didn't change that much ?
@Hard Truths ok, so I don't know if you're a guy or a girl, but you're seriously creeping me out and I seriously hope you don't ever get interested in someone. Loving a character does NOT mean that you can't see the problematic stuff they do, you know ? It's called critical thinking. With or without a soul, Spike was quite the problematic character. As for your point on how I should rewatch the show, maybe you should. And actually watch Spike in season 7 after the first few episodes where he's obviously insane. Season 7 got 22 episodes, not 13-14, and Spike's here in most of them, even afterward ...
Angel and Spike were considered by their own species as the two most sadistic and cruelest vampires in history Angelus the demon with an Angel's face Is it Spike or as others call him William the bloody buffy has already entered Spike's head in comics and she has seen all the things he has done us his 100 years of existence is almost crazy
god i'm fucking ADDICTED to this vid!!!! SEROTONIN GIVE IT TO ME (also an aside - in a perfect world, they would have stayed together till the end) (and unrelated but i would Kill for a scene where Buffy announces their engagement and everyone's reeally awkward like '...for real this time?' XD)
Goodbye Iowa - Professor Walsh tries to have Buffy killed and they don't know if Riley was involved. He was talking to Riley. The final scene was from the Angel series (Season 5. The Girl in Question) when Spike and Angel go to London to get some demon's head and also save Buffy from their long-time foe The Immortal who they find out she's dating (but if you read the comics, she's not really dating him. They have several people posing as Buffy for her protection and it's a fake Buffy).
