It diminishes the credibility of the league. Blackburn were managed by Liverpool's legend King Kenny, and Liverpool still beat them, even though it might have helped Man Utd. The difference is that I can be realistic and honest about Arsenal and my own team because I know Arsenal are well ahead of Chelsea right now in terms of experience/ability and performance but I don’t have to go around belittling other clubs/teams just to make my self feel more secure in life but if that’s what your into then you do you and good luck. I honestly believe that as professionals spurs will set out to win the match because they have honour and integrity. Will EVERY player put every ounce of effort into every moment and jump into those 50/50 challenges especially as the game gets into the late stages?? Will certain players subconsciously know the fans want them to roll over so therefore they play at 75% instead of 100%??? Who knows but we will get the answer tonight. All I am saying is that sport is for the fans to enjoy and be a part of so if they want there team to loose just to stop a rival team then I don’t think this is wrong! If you think deeper about it maybe in a weird way some fans will actually get an enjoyment out of stopping their rivals winning than actually winning the game them selves!
