A Special Tribute To Tim Duncan & The San Antonio Spurs #AChampionForever #5TimesAChamp #ThankYouTD Copyright: NBA, ABC, ESPN, Fox Sports Southwest, ESPN First Take, Sports Center
Not from my time so I can't make a thoroughly observation, but from what I've seen and read I believe he and Bill Russell are pretty much equal in that respect.
There's no other player liken Duncan,,, not from the basket ball, but his charismatic and humility. He could be glamorizing his achievement but he chose not to, he could walk away at this Father Time but he chose not to, he could be selfish by asking more pay but he chose not to, he could just rage against his sloppy teammates but he chose not to. Me as a fan of his sportsmanship but also admire his attitude and gratitude. We, the fans, the organization have been taking for granted. And when he decided to hang his jersey, he will walk away as one of the greatest, that's how much we owe him.
msbutterflyinfluence U can watch vids of Tim Duncan going at it against Shaq from like 10 years ago, and then find vids of Tim Duncan going at it against Aldridge and Gasol now, he still does the same move with the same effectiveness.
lebron and kobe are not in his class at a one claims to be the best of all time while the other is a wife cheater and the last one is just loyal to a fault and humble to the max!!
All the other stars will never be as loved as Tim Duncan because of all the controversy and publicity of them all. Kobe had his drama with Shaq and the scandal. Lebron had his team switch. Timmy D was always quiet, humble and a class act. There will definitely never be another Tim Duncan.
Not a single person outside of la reveled on Duncan losing a playoff series....he was that good..that classy..that down to earth...beating him wouldn't feel good
getting goosebumps watching this video. Tim Duncan greatest PF ever. I think he would have had three more chips. 2004-derek fisher shot, 2006-manu foul on dirk, 2013-ray allen three point shot.
Ducan and the spurs are the most humble team in the NBA. There was no number one player. These guys passed the ball as a team! Thats what makes them different
San Antonio Spurs are the epitome of basketball and the best winning franchise in the NBA. Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks and other teams are emulating what the San Antonio Spurs are all about teamwork and ball movement. No team handles their business better than the San Antonio Spurs based on the classiness in the organization and how they prepare themselves as consistent contenders. Having reached the playoffs for 18 consecutive seasons winning 21 Division Titles overall with 6 Western Conference Titles and 5 NBA Championships. The San Antonio Spurs are a story all to themselves that remains excellent always being under the radar as a small market team.
i went to as many games as i could last year because i kinda knew it was gonna be his last year.... im a 510'' guy who played shooting gaurd in highschool but always used to post up players bigger than me just so i can do Tim Duncan moves on them lol..gonna miss Timmy..
Great video. Got me choked up. Love seeing Timmy and the Spurs getting some credit for being who they are. And what they are is classy, professional, selfless, respectful, humble, and real examples of how people should act on and off the court. In a day where people celebrate every little bullshit thing, it's refreshing to see an old school team like this. No chest banging, no trash talk, just focus on the goal at hand. It's beautiful to watch. That's why I love these guys.
man, it sucks, i thought he would play for one more year now that we have pau, oh well, but don't u just wish manu would retire today instead of having to feel like this all over again next year.
