Great Looking Knife my friend! I like your style in the review, and you gave me lots of terrific information. I may need to buy a couple New Knives and hold off on another Les Baer 1911. :) Stay Safe. 😎🥳👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸. Beretta Sr.
Thank you very much for the nice comments. Yeah, it's always a challenge deciding what to spend the money when you like guns and knives.. especially now there are so many great knives coming out all the time. Take care.
Thanks! Yes, leaf is better for all around use since it's shape is close to a normal drop point and has a point for piercing things.. the sheepsfoot is great if you have a lot of reg blade shapes and want something different or if you want to do a lot of slicing with the knife.
Hi... those custom orange honeycomb scales were produced by custom scale maker Allen Putman. He's always coming up with new patterns and colors for different knives so they often get discontinued like the ones on my video. Do a search for him and you can see what he has in stock for the Spydercos and other knives.
Does the Sheepsfoot Carribean have a different blade geometry? Is it thicker behind the edge? Anybody that has both? Do they cut the same? I'm probably getting the sheepsfoot version, and it's goig to be my 1st and only Spyderco I can afford, and find where I live. Any help would be much appriciated. Thanks in advance
Hi.. I don't have a Sheepsfoot to compare it too, but both are full flat ground. Thickness on the Sheepsfoot wouldn't be any thicker behind the edge than the leaf and both are meant to be slicers, the Sheepsfoot probably more so. Both are great knives, get the shape you would use the most, i.e. Sheepsfoot would be great for food prep.
