SpyderCo Para3 vs Benchmade Mini Griptilian vs ParaMilitary2 || Spyderco vs Benchmade 

Great reviews and comparisons between all three knives, I would really love both the mini grip and the para 3 in blurple, it is just gorgeous!

Picked up Para 3 Black. Solves the blade vis issues right away. I think for EDC, Black setup is a nice, not noticeable sheen when you flick it open. It's always good to not draw attention... great knife. Thanks for comparing. Almost bought the Mini Grip.

Recently just got my mini grip back from getting some work done at benchmade, it is now sharper and more fluid deploying than ever! i still rotate between the para3 and the mini grip but the benchmade is a sweet knife!

All excellent choices, but I agree. For normal edc the Para 3 with the deep pocket grip is my go to. The Sage 5 is also a great option that I enjoy.

I have both and prefer to carry the mini-grip because its lighter, I just put the Para 3 in my GO Bag. I think the Para 3 fits my hand better, and cuts better, AND it also retains its edge longer. I’ll have to order some deep carry clips! Good video!

All 3 are great knives. The steel in your mini-grip is higher end. 20CV is a bit better than S30V, but both are great. Obviously, there is no answer to which one to carry other than carry them both!

The black on black PM2 is now $153.40 and the Griptilian $178.50. However, the Grip has 20CV a far superior steel to S30V. Also, the Benchmade offer blade replacement, which Spyderco does not. Also, the Griptilian with dlc S30V cost $119, but doesn't have G10.

I have one of each of them. I like them all for different reasons. I like the mini griptilian for the reason it's small and not very offensive if I need to use it in the work place, (I carry 2 knives in my edc get up) (mini griptilian and paramilitary 2) I like my paramilitary 2 over my para 3 for the reason that the size is a little more suited for me and what I like personally. I also like the para 3 for the reason it's a happy medium between the paramilitary 2 and the mini griptilian. So if I could not carry 2 knifes in my edc I would choose my para 3 as my edc.

Scales is the word you were looking for and they are made out of g10 not k10. G10 is fiberglass impregnated with an epoxy resin. Both the mini grip and para3/paramilitary 2 have g10 scales, Benchmade polishes to a desired toughness while Spyderco keeps their g10 a mid-traction. If you want rough g10, check out the cold steel recon 1. That knife can wear out your pocket in a hurry!

I carry a Para 2 for duty and a Para 3 as my off duty.

One reason a prefer BM is their warranty. U can break your blade in half& for around $20 or $30, they'll replace it. & their lifesharp program

Mini griptillan

Here we go with the knife shame.

I don’t know why you kids are so concerned about the butt of a knife peeking out of your pocket. Are you all afraid that mom or dad is going to see it or what? And the weight of my pocket knife is of almost of no concern compared to the rest of my EDC. If it folds and keeps an edge is about all that’s required. The rest is just window dressing. Love my para 2. Wouldn’t carry anything else. Peace!

PM2 is the best of those three...by far. Perfect size....opens like a champ. Mini-grip doesn't open/close well....Para 3 is not as good as the pm2. Sorry but I can't like or subscribe to anyone who doesn't recognize this.

What an awful “review”. You’re skipping over your words so much, don’t have any accurate objective data on any of the products you have (how does someone get blade lengths complete wrong?), using wrong terminology everywhere, and just generally don’t have the experience needed to give an educated opinion.
