I think it’s well worth it ! I have a para 2 and 3 in Maxamet and it’s a phenomenal blade steel . Holds a edge and as long as you maintain it on a leather strop periodically don’t let it get dull you’ll probably never have to sharpen it with normal light every day use for a very very long time. The key is to not let it get dull .

Taichung is known for there stonewash though it would of been perfect opportunity to showcase it again

i agree with matus , very nice , i might even buy one but i wished had had put the same finish on it as the para 3. if i could get a para 3 in maxamet i probably woul not buy this , but it is still very nice. thanks for sharing 👍

Is the detent ball ceramic or steel? I would worry that it would flatten quite quickly if steel was used.

I am sorry to see just a belt/wheel finish as it look as poor as I would expect from such a steel - looks like a scratched mirror. Stonewash adds another step and produces a surface that is not only mote pleasing to look at, but also hides wear better.
