Always loved the look of this one and seeing the action and a more detailed explanation of the blade geometry I definitely will be adding this to the wish list a great review
This blade shape is not like their others. I dig this knife and I was thinking about getting one. Glad I went back in your videos and found this on it.
I don't understand why for the price of the Smock and many other Spyderco knives they can't give their devoted buyers solid C/F, maybe the devoted part is the problem. Spyderco did so with the Kapara and look what a success it became and I understand it is contoured scales but still think it adds a lot of value to the knife.
There’s no reason for this whole concept of laminated G10 and carbon fiber to eve exist. I’d rather one or the other, never the combination in my opinion.
just purchased the smock! I already fell in love with it and I havnt even gotten it yet 🤣 but you already know I had to watch a neeves knives review on it! specifically searched Spyderc Smock Neeves Knives review lol.
I've sharpened mine up a few times. It gets real thick behind the edge real fast. Ergos are amazing on it but it doesn't seem as good for long cuts as I would like it to be.
I’ve been looking for a good work knife & ordered one of these. Hopefully it works out. Need something that can be easily deployed, used, & put away. A little pricey for a work knife but it should last me a while
@@AlCapwnd-tb5ow I would not. It’s not a bad knife per se, but it’s not as good as people make it out to be. Not very comfortable to use & over priced imo
Neeves Knives you could. I hope to see videos on my zt’s after I send them. You can even use them both and do a versus type video or whatever you want. I like my smock but I absolutely love my zt’s. You can put an edge on them use them and put a fresh edge back on them before sending them if you would like.
Bruh you're costing me about $600 to $1000 this week with your videos lol (love the channel btw) I'm buying this Spyderco right now & you got me hooked on TwoSun Knives, been bidding on eBay all week 🤣🤣
Yeah I know! 😆 I'm dealing with it ok! It's a problem but atleast I can admit that. thischannelisnotresponsibleforanydivorcesbankrupciesorhungerproblems 😆🤣
Ok ok I know what you mean, im late to the party, and I really wanted it and then finally when it dropped I had already bought other things, and then it was everywhere, and I was over it to, but now after getting a great deal on 2nd market, sometimes it pays to be really late to the game
I love my smock fidget factor is a 10 ergonomic lil short if I'm gonna be using a knife a lot I usually grab something else but pimping around on weekend in my pocket alot
Unfortunately, in Poland it is nowhere to be found and they probably do not produce this model anymore. I regret that I did not manage to buy it because it is almost perfect for me. a larger selection of steel would be useful and a more useful part for choking
@@bladeguru6358 work sharp precision angle sharpener for around 50$ is the best for the $ the better options are much more expensive, there's a couple other decent options on Amazon but I haven't personally tried them
Just can't get interested in this knife....The lanyard hole, why? Replace the clip? Remove the détent ball? Put better scales on it? Plus the guy that designed the knife has a bad rapp....... NAH..... This must be for severe Spyderco addicts only. Thanks for all the interesting sharpening info, tho...
With everything just the way it is its a really great knife but hey if its not for you its not, I dont know the bad rapp that you speak of, but if you like spyderco that most of the things like clip and lanyard are just typical and are easy to overlook and many people like to customize their knives anyway, and the detent ball is great the way it is and doesnt need to be done but if you like to take apart your knives anyways than its something you can do if you wanted. Theres many knives that have parts on them that can be modified if you wish, but I understand why it might be something that can seem like its a little high maintenance.
