Thanks for this you two. Great video. Today will mark the final day of our first season of Spydering, off to top up the tank and home to change the oil and put her away for the season. We too have enjoyed meeting other riders on our travels this past summer. As you pointed out the this community are a friendly and happy bunch of folks and it is amazing to meet at coffee shops along the way and share stories. I also do not want to exclude our 2 wheeled colleagues that we have met on the road. They also welcomed us 3 wheelers as part of the motorcycling fraternity and always had questions about our F3...sometimes with the comment.... "hmmm maybe its time for one of these for us" . I know what you mean about SMNP. Being so close, I'm really spoiled with that, the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway. Numerous other great rides to be had here, but it looks like your section of VA is pretty cool too.
Over 4 hours to do 5 miles, typical journey time here in overcrowded SE England. At least Sweetpotato made you smile. Pleased the sun came out for you to have a great ride to the rally.
Loved it hope you have more on the rally , we have stayed in robbinsville NC and been to Cherokee and Maggie valley love it in about 2 yrs we’ll be getting a spider and will definitely be there hope to meet you there !!

Looks like you had a good time. I do imagine that any Spyder rally would be a good one! I'm with you on the dark ride on unfamiliar roads. I tend to avoid them.
Enjoy your videos. I see that you have a gopro mount on your right mirror. Are you using using the same camera at times on your helmet or do you use a different camera? Keep up the great videos!
@@JohnMiriamsTravelVlog That's what I was thinking. I have a gopro but still figuring all that out. My spyder is down at All Out Cycles in Chesapeake right now getting some work done. Hope to get it back soon.
