I would really love to see a prequel to Legend of Spyro, before the great war that was started by Malefor so we could see how it was before the war and how Malefor was before he became a genocidal maniac that tried to blow up the earth I also read the Destiny Intertwined comic, and so far I really like it
I hope that the dragon species survived after Spyro died, maybe there were some dragons around that we didn’t know about. Would be sad if they went extinct after that whole war
I think we see other dragons in the background during the fighting at Warfang in Dawn of the Dragon. So it's very likely there are still pockets of their kind that weren't killed in the conflict. And even if there aren't we know Spyro and Cynder survive and could potentially begin to repopulate the world with their hatchlings.
There may have been forest and light dragons if they weren't the same thing, perhaps they were responsible for not only produce but also the purification of the land. I can see dragon society placing more emphasis on the natural world than most. Perhaps there were also spirit/shadow dragons that worked alongside the forest/light dragons particularly in regards to restless spirits. It would also make sense for there to be areas dedicated to two elements for young dragons that wanted to go down unique paths.
Probably pretty prosperous and some crime & war here and there, a Purple Dragon would be the only time things get Divine and we know the first is the first to try to cause terror, death and destruction, who knows what the extent was with the first Purple Dragon or if he/she/they was originally good or not.
