Remastered perhaps but it's also a reboot and not The Legend of Spyro trilogy like many people claimed. The same is true for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Versions and the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane trilogy, which are both remastered and reboots. A reboot basically means literally starting all over again from scratch without any kind of connection to future elements within a series (for example Skylanders, which is a spin-off of the original Spyro games).
@@crazychris5571 Well, nobody is talking about The Legend of Spyro and that's clearly the reboot. This is a remaster of the original series with the same original elements and story without anything changed. And no, the Crash Bandicoot N.sane trilogy is also a remaster and NOT a reboot. You can call both of them a remake but NOT a reboot.
@@RhazOfRheos I only agree to a certain degree. A remake is while a newer version of a series possesses the same elements as the original, the story is pretty much modified a bit to add new elements (such as Skill Points in Spyro 1). The Legend of Spyro trilogy is often considered a failed attempt to rebooting the series after the success of Spyro 3 and has gotten mixed reviews because of it being too repetitive. Then comes the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which, unlike The Legend of Spyro, actually lives up to the original games and becomes a more successful version of the Spyro The Dragon Trilogy complete with a remastered version of the characters everyone comes to know and love. That means everything is up to date when it comes to both visual and sound quality. You can't count Skylanders because that right there is a spin-off game.
@@crazychris5571 My entire point is, this is NOT a reboot. I'm not bringing anything else besides that point. If you denied that to a certain degree then yeah, I'll say you're wrong..
I got to the Greek looking map forgot what the name was but I had the original when I was like 5 or was it 6 either way I'm 12 now and it brings so much nalstolga
13:16 jajjaa i see that wing spyro, it's looks like hunter isn't the only warry who fell, you silly dragon (and yes i know this was in the first trilogy, i have been wishing for thiss for a long time)
Actually Yin & Yang represent the principle that all things exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites, and by reaching a Balance between the two they can achieve harmony, a better way to interpret them is Light & Dark, Dark doesn't Necessarily need to be Evil, much like how Light doesn't Always mean Good.
Spyro's adventure started with him saving the past generation and ended with him saving the new generation. 9:50 Also every character getting a bookend scene in Year of the Dragon reminded me of Return of the King but gave me Return of the Jedi vibes. Maybe this game should've been called Return of the Dragon.
Enter the Dragonfly is most likely non-canon. The game doesn't explain why Ripto suddenly came back and the ones who bought the rights of Spyro just wanted a villain in their "sequel". Instead of making a budget for a new villain, they decided to take one of the original villains and say "fuck it". (Also, you can finish enter the dragonfly in about 1 minute or so.)
@@ZeronTracks None of those are relevant to the original trilogy. It's possibly because in the original games they could only source voices from in-house employees, who were probably all men, because the company hadn't had a good financial track record up until Spyro and couldn't afford more than a handful of voice actors.
Novel Spiro with Alarei shown pouillenay.)))) I understood that Alora liked Spiro when he after 2 battlefield with Gal asked its: -Great! A... won't you join me? -Hey,where's Alora? I need to find her.
I like the Reanimation a lot but the only thing is that how they look, For hunter.. He doesn't look the same.. He looks like a Normal Cheetah... and not as orange as he was.. HE'S NOT THE SAME D;
That awkward moment when you watch that part of Spyro 3 and you realise that they were thinking of doing something after that fireworks show. (and I'm not giving any hints, as I don't think any are needed)
Some Of The Original Spyro The Dragon Video Game Voice Actors And Video Game Voice Actresses Did Voice Work In This Game Unlike In The Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy Game Which Is A Good Game Too.
It makes me wonder whoever is making the next spyro will they continue these ships between spyro and elora hunter and Bianca Would nice to see but well just see how it goes i guess
uhmm.. shes the same as she ever was. Just remastered with better graphic this time. This game is already filled with anthropomorphs. That doesn't mean it was made for furries..
@@RhazOfRheos she doesn't look the same. Like at all. The previous one looked like a half human half elk. This one just looks like full on elk. And it's spelled "Graphics". And what I mean by furries is the sex appeal
@@dragonempress8367 what? I never said that she looks the same. She obviously looks different. I never see her as a half human half elk in the original at all. Just because she have a lighter upper fur ( same as the remaster) doesnt mean shes half-human. I dont recall theres any human looking species in spyro. You didnt notice that snout and those ears? Also where did you see an elk?? Shes a faun. Shes always a faun. Said it her self.
@@dragonempress8367 also wow.. going out of your way to correct a single typo tht I missed. I thought youre actually smart enough to know what it is and put it aside because it doesnt have to do with anything. Guess I have to correct any later on huh. Since you "cared" so much.
But... I own and play this on xbox bcus I like superior hardware, and I like to support the underdogs. Did I mention superior hardware? Check out the Xbox One X's stats, compare it to the PS4 pro and cry. Of course I played the originals on PS1... before the xbox even existed, even tho they didnt port it. As for hardware, yeah the older xbox systels weren't as great... but again, check out the Xbox One X's stats, compare it to whatever PS4 you might have, and cry. I'd say don't forget the cry part but seriously, your ps4 is inferior.
I wish Cynder could be a playable character (If we want to play as a girl main character). I want to see this cutscenes with her instead of Spyro. Don't get me wrong, I love Spyro.
@@WillieManga Well, the Legend game is not terrible, it's just targeting adult fans. Yeah, try a different story, maybe have the same story as Spyro's, but say that the legendary dragons are violet colored instead of purple.
@@santiwicaksono5540 Funny thing is that as an adult, I like the story of this trilogy better. I'm sure people like the Legend games for what they are, but I dunno, stuff like the voice acting voice and the limited animation and repetitive gameplay kinda make me uncomfortable.
@@bandicootsmwcentral2950 I personally liked it better when she looked androgynous. This new Sheila has weird proportions and a pretty uninspired design. I mean, it's true that her past design was a bit plain but making her doe-eyed and stereotypically feminine is not a good way to go about it.
Spyro: It's a sad sight, Sparks. Another noble warrior falls victim in the plague of love. Pfft. Just look away. *Spyro instantly cuddles alongside Elora* Me: Oh, Spyro....
You know I never got to play Ripto's Rage as a kid. And I find it kind of funny now that I learn that the female faun has the same name with my home town. Aint that a kick.
The true ending of Spyro 3 managed to be much better in the remake than in the original. While in the original it felt very awkward, in the remake it appeared to be a large reunion between parents and children.
Something just hit me. Is Spyro able to walk around on two legs like the rest of the other dragon's and if so does that mean Spyro can also do cartwheels like the hatchlings can?
My guess would be that he's not yet at that stage in his life. Like how human babies initially crawl before they can walk, i think this would be like a similar scenario but stretched out over a much longer period of time.
I think it depends on the type of dragon. Looking at all 80 of the dragons in the remake, not all of them are using their hind legs to stand on. There are also some dragons that despite standing on their hind legs have a very low waist. Suggesting they're feral and only taught to stand 2-legged.
Yeah, I can agree that much. Although I haven't played the original PlayStation versions of the Spyro games, playing the Reignited Trilogy, Bentley is my favorite of the new playable characters in Spyro 3.
Year of the Dragon was always my favorite. Seeing these new cutscenes is..kind of odd. Very cool, but odd. I guess I'm just nostalgic. Can't really speak for the others though as I was too young to complete Spyro 1, and my understanding of how stuff worked was made harder by me not understanding English. Sort of the same problem with Ripto's Revenge but the game also crashed after the first boss so I could never progress. :( I do think I prefer the old design of the Sorceress, though. She just seemed more threatening instead of goofy.
I definitely love the remastered endings better. Not only are the animations and voice acting better, but they went all out with them. Spyro having to whack a sheep who is getting in the way instead of just standing there. There's a nice little touch in the 100 percent completion where Spyro looks at a minion. And heck yeah they gotta ship tease with Elora in Spyro 2! As a kid playing Spyro 3, I didn't know what everyone's deal was in the ending, but the improved expressions and tone helped me understand better. And Agent 9 is so much goofier, I love it! Look at Spyro putting his wing behind Elora! Look at it, it's so adorable!! But probably my favorite change was the 100 percent completion of Spyro 3. In the original, Spyro just shakes his head in embarrassment. TFB fortunately cared enough to make it far more satisfying with Spyro smiling at one of the kids. It was a wonderful way to wrap up a wonderful trilogy. Goddamn it, I love this series. After Crash 4, I'm hopeful that they make their own Spryo 4.
They oughta make a new spinoff series or at least one game where you play as George, the dragon who’s egg was the head piece of the Sorceress’s staff. He might be even more powerful than Spyro if him as an egg powered the most powerful magical being in the Forgotten Worlds.
