Funny story: I visited my grandparents and uncle only occasionally because they lived a ways from my parents and me. However, my uncle owned a PS1 and the Spyro demo, and because I wasn’t allowed to own a game console until I was almost in my teens, I was always excited to play on his device. Because the balloonist said, “Meet me in September,” I thought, “If my parents visit my grandparents’ and uncle’s place in September, I’ll be able to access new worlds!” To my delight, my parents and I visited their place one September only for me to find out that playing the demo that month would yield no results! XD
@@TheStarWarriorHorse bro I was in a similar situation my grandparents had the same thing and when I went back and saw the same message I was still an idiot kid man I was like oh maybe it's in uk time or something
@@rudymedina4508 happy upcoming birthday scorpio friend. My mom's birthday is the 17th, this will be my first one without her she passed away last December so I'm still sad.
1:44 *September* Kid me: ok I'm ready.... uh...WHAT THE HECK?! Me today: should just say, "the other worlds are very exciting. I'll take you there in the finished game."
I like how the music in the demo is different than the actual game. I actually prefer the choices here. The title theme is playing in the Artisans' World and the credits theme is playing in Stone Hill. It feels uplifting and energetic instead of the official game themes for the levels. My opinion.
I'm two years late but it drove me nuts starting the Reignited Trilogy this past week expecting to hear the music that plays in the first area. When I didn't hear it, I had to go lookup gameplay of the original game to see if they changed it altogether. When I *still* didn't find it, I started looking at other games I played when I was a kid to see if I was thinking of a different song altogether. Then I realized that my friend and I had played the Demo version of the game so much, never the full game, that it *must* have been music from this demo disc. I'm glad this gameplay video exists to restore my sanity.
"I'll take you there in September" as a kid I didn't realize the balloonist meant as in the actual month..I thought I could go there with Spyro in the demo
There was a glitch in this demo where if you swam in a specific spot in one of the pools of water, Spyro could then "swim" his way anywhere and outside of the map upwards. I exploited this glitch and used it to effectively fly around everywhere and explore. So much nostalgia.
I remember playing a demo of a game, which's name I forgot, but I did not know it was a demo back then. Every time it would stop the game at a certain point and I got so frustrated thinking I kept dying even though I had full health.
I think it was a great opener but I do prefer the song playing in the Artisans' World. It gives it a better vibe in my opinion. They could have used the song for both like in Spyro 2 where the title theme and Glimmer had the same tune.
